“Such a cozy cabin in the woods! We brought our own bird feeders and food and the birds came in immediately. We really enjoyed the peace and tranquillity. The cabin had a lovely porch with a patio table and chairs and we enjoyed our morning coffee listening to birdsong”

“It was the short weekend runaway we needed and were looking forward to. It's a quick ride to Pittsfield but we decided to cross the border to Manchester, VT. The place was as described, quiet, clean, secluded but easy to find. The Lake was fantastic but, due to weather, decided against taking the kayaks out. Perhaps next time. Thanks to Rich for being a great and gracious host!”

“Wrote to them asking for early check in around 1pm for 3pm check in, no reply. Not a problem, early check in isn’t a guarantee. Get to the property 10 mins before check in and no one is there, wait around for 30 mins, no one there, no one answering in the app, no one picking up the phone. By 340 called Vrbo who canceled my reservation around 4pm the property called asked if I left, I said I did and booked somewhere else, no apology, no reasoning, just “ok” and hung up. “Lovely home. Plenty of room for all of us (11 adults, 2 children). Generally very clean. Plenty of cooking materials, linens, etc. T.v. with huge screen. Two kitchens plus bbq grill. Nice location. Negatives: - Stove tops and oven were not clean. Oven smoked when we first turned it on and the smoke alarm did not go off. - No AC. Fans were fine for us in May but it might be warm in August.Overall, we had a great time. We would stay at this house again. ”

“This house was the perfect get away house for out family! The place was clean and the kitchen well stocked! We had wonderful large family dinners and enjoyed heading into town for meals and fun too. We had the best hikes with are wonderful dog that we got to include, it was a very special week. Great location and the most peaceful and amazing views from the deck and the dock. Would stay here again for sure! Thank you for sharing your home.”

“Our long weekend in the Berkshires was perfect and this house made it possible. We were a multi-generational family staying with young children and the house was set up wonderfully for our party. “We had a great stay at Carl's townhouse. He was super helpful and great to work with. He took the time to arrange for us to check in earlier than advertised. The kitchen was well stocked, and the house was clean. There was plenty of room and it was very comfortable. Hope to visit again soon!”
