“What I like most was as we were checking in. The woman behind the counter was very nice. Had many suggestions of things to do around the property. I knew after talking with her. It was going to be a great stay and it was thanks I will stay there again.”
“Fabulous place, price was on the cheaper side so wasn't expecting greatness...but it was great - big room, balcony with chairs, sofa, coffee table, fridge, microwave and 2 deliciously comfortable beds. Place is bogger than what it looks from the road. Will book here next time ”
“We cycled to the motel so were unable to bring our own food. The motel is a few miles from the nearest restaurant - too far to cycle for a meal out. The manager kindly offered to buy food for us which was there on our arrival. We grilled the sausages on the gas grill. There were tables and chairs next to the grill and undercover. We later sat around a fire. The wood was provided free of charge. Overall we had a very pleasant stay. ”
“We loved staying here. Our only complaint was the shower leaked on the ground. We made sure the shower doors were shut all the way but it leaked every shower. We used towels to wipe it up. It was inconvenient to have the power out but we understand you can’t control these things so we went to the pool to pass time. Pool area could have been nicer. Overall, though, great time ”
“This lodge is a hidden treasure. It is humble, but clean, and nicely maintained. The setting is gorgeous and the location is so charming. We were traveling through, but I’d love to return and spend more time in the area. The owner was friendly and helpful.”
"The front desk staff was extremely friendly and even recommended nearby souvenir shops and an amazing breakfast spot. I would give them a perfect score for their service. The hotel is converted from an old elementary school, which gives it a unique character. However, the bathroom is a bit small, with a sink that seems sized for elementary school students, making it easy to splash water everywhere. The bed appears to have dust mites, as my allergies acted up shortly after lying down, though it wasn't too severe. The TV offers many channel options, so you won't get bored at night！"
