“Great tiny home in a great location! The house itself is very well appointed and the hosts were great. They even left a little welcome bag of local products!! Just a few minutes drive to Quechee Gorge, Woodstock, and White River Junction. Plenty of trails and places to explore. Good restaurants and a lot of cool antique shops. “Had an amazing time, the house is beautiful and waking up in the morning with the sun coming through the windows made it feel like a vacation. The deck and patio was amazing we spent all of our time outside. Our canine family member (our baby boy) loved the yard and barking at the kayaks going by. A lot of wildlife geese, ducks, birds, and muskrats, even small turtles. Not much to due in town, but took a short ride to Woodstock had lunch by the river and walked the East End Park. “The location of this unit was ideal for people who like to vacation without having to drive. We literally skied to The Sunrise Cafe for dinner the first night. “We rented this property to be close to skiing at Okemo. Here are things we wanted to share:Location: it's a 5 minute drive to Okemo - fantastic! The cottage is at the base of Lake Pauline, directly across from a busy road. The road noise was noticeable, and it was winter with windows closed. It was not a secluded cabin in the woods.Check in: the code did not work. When we contacted Vacasa, we were told that they could reset the door code remotely. “Booked last minute and did not disappoint. Great area, right near the gorge, but also only 10 mins away from great shopping. The main building is outdated but the room itself had been updated and was very clean. The only downside was that you could hear people nearby laughing and talking after 10pm so the walls are pretty thin. 9.5/10 though, would absolutely stay again :)”
