“The apartment is clean and in a great location, close to restaurants, pubs, waterfront, shops, etc. The bed was fairly comfy and it had everything we needed. The only thing that would have made it better is a blow dryer and the shower temp being easier to adjust. We would recommend staying here.”

“A really lovely, individual and peaceful property which felt like a home from home. Only a 5 minute walk to the beach. Gorgeous views of Mey Castle from the coastal path. Lots of local walks and coast to enjoy. Dunnet head and beach only 10 minute drive away. The property had everything you could need from a well equipped kitchen to two lovely log burners, one with built in oven (there is also a normal oven in the property). A very helpful and kind owner. “Fantastic stay at John O Groats. We had booked a double ensuite room which looked lovely. When we arrived the manager was waiting for us to ask if we would mind if they upgraded our room as the heating wasnt wasnt working. Obviously we didnt mind. Imagine our surprise when we were shown to our upgraded room. They had given us a three bedroomed, two bathroom lodge which was amazing. Warm, comfortable clean and pur luxury. We settled down by the logburner to watch the sea through the huge windows.……
