“It was convenience to downtown. It was right around the corner from PicPac. The price was good but there was some issues when we first got there. The heat wasn’t on and wven when it said it was it wouldn’t come on. I had to contact the property owner and the property opener said everything was good but after about 30 minutes of being there, some thing happening and it got turned on. It would’ve not of been a big deal but it was 50° outside. The hot water from the sink was leaking all over the……

“The stay was better than I imagined it would be. Beautiful country view with green meadows and cows. So much history in this house. So many things in the house reminded me of my mother. Very quiet, comfortable and clean. It is the best place we have stayed. The communication with Nell was better than great. He stayed up late to help us find our way. We arrived in the dark and Nell was ready for us with the lights on so we could safely enter the house. I can’t wait to return and book this country……

“Cabin was very comfortable and host provided many nice extra touches: coffee/tea, snacks, water, toothbrushes… Great location close to Cumberland Gap Visitor’s Center, trails and restaurants in town of Cumberland Gap. Gave it a 4 for cleanliness because windows could use a little attention.”

“Melody was a wonderful and thoughtful host. We had everything we could have wanted or needed including wood for the fire pit. The pictures do not do the property justice. The apartment is gorgeous and very comfortable. The yard was wonderful. We have friends here that we visit at least annually and this will be my go to spot for lodging moving forward. ”
