“My fiance and I found this place last minute due to hurricane helen and the host was very responsive and answered all our questions immediately which prompted us to book right away. They even let us tour it just a few weeks prior. Our wedding party of 23 people were very much accommodated. This place was absolutely breath taking. “The house was located directly on the water and had a flat yard so we didn’t have to worry with steps. My family had a wonderful time at this lake house. ”

“We visited the lodge for a thanksgiving family getaway. The rooms and house are very spacious. Vrbo’s description of the house was very accurate. The owners of the home are very nice, welcoming, and are timely in responding. One negative I would give is the housekeeping of the house. It needed more of a “detailed” cleaning. This property could also be more handicapped friendly as far as entering the house. Overall, it was a great stay and would recommend to others. ”

“A wonderful place to stay! This was our first time at Lake Gaston and it did not disappoint. The house was clean and spacious but we spent most of our time outside on the covered deck- our favorite part of the house. We love that the home was dog friendly- our pup loved lounging on the covered deck and dock with us. We enjoyed using the paddleboards and kayak for swimming during the day, using the grill for burgers at lunch, and lighting the fire pit at night. We loved the privacy of the dock……
