Clean and comfort loft

Clean, well design and comfort hotel. The loft is bright and clean with good view of the garden and cruise. Underground car park charges 12 pounds per day. But it is more cheap to park just outside the hotel, very convenient. Walking distance to city centre and shopping mall. Recommend

The perfect Notting Hill experience just two blocks from shops & dining. Perfect location to visit local historic sites, walkable to cruise terminal and ferry to transport to Isle of Wight. The only negative was the studio room we booked didn’t match the photos; it was smaller than we anticipated. That being said, great shower and restaurant food is terrific.

Unable to take shower in the morning. The handle that controls water temperature fell off in my hand. It was stuck in the position that was set to supply scalding hot water. There was also only hot water available at the sink, no matter what position it was placed in. When I mentioned this to the hotel desk, it was stated that this is a normal occurrence. No other statement or even a simple apology was given. This is our forth time staying at this hotel, and we will not be returning. This is a very expensive hotel in a great location, but is no longer worth the money.

Quick and easy check in. Very friendly staff. Close to our cruise terminal. Had trouble with the dryer, staff was very helpful, immediately started working on the problem. The only problem was having to run the dryer twice to get our clothes dry. Would stay here again.

Room was great. Cleanliness was good. But the restroom / shower area needs a better scrub. Cafe downstairs was convenient. Food was good. Overall it was okay for a night. But too much $$$$ for what it was.

Great location for a night before our cruise. Very close to the pier. Restaurants nearby and nice walk to the water and restaurants. Also close enough to walk to shops.

Hotel room was fine. Staff was very cordial and helpful at all times. Cafe and bar area was enjoyable. Nice breakfast was served. Only issue was we could have used a newer or better mattress.

We enjoyed the area-especially the walkability. The hotel was ok. Room was small and had a funky unused toilet smell that did not dissipate during our stay. The staff in the bar area were very friendly. The staff that were supposed to be front end staff were less so. We enjoyed the proximity to Oxford Street and all of the available dining options. Reminded us of Quay Street in Galway.

It was 5 min drive from cruise port and bus station. No plug adapter available so couldn’t charge phones or use cpap machine. Reminded me of air b and b rather than hotel. U are on your own. No coffee maker only instant coffee available and no cream. Breakfast was pretty good and they did help get a cab.

Extremely disappointed in our stay here - we had paid extra (and non-refundable in advance) for a Master type room and unfortunately our safe didn't work (it was obviously not in working order as all the batteries had been removed due to having had exploded and corroded into the safe), and the staff refused to give us a working safe or a different room, even though it was still early in the day. There was also no "Do Not Disturb" sign, so no way to tell staff not to disturb us while in the room. The room was also wheelchair accessible (which they gave us with absolutely no warning) with emergency red pull tags everywhere, low sinks, long bars and a chair in the shower, which we didn't need - that alone would have been fine, but it just made our stay even more strange. There was absolutely no desire to make things right or apologize, basically a "deal with it" attitude - I feel that they purposely gave us a less desirable room as I was traveling alone with my child. They did offer to keep all of our valuables in the manager's office, which seems a bit silly to offer when its the same manager that will do absolutely nothing to resolve your issues, yet will seemingly watch over your passport and valuables. Yha, a hard no on that one. It's bad enough that a mother traveling alone with her child is not given a room with a working safe or a "Do Not Disturb" sign, and that everyone at front desk now knows about it, and then ask to hold on to all your valuables.
