Welcome to your serene retreat in Bermuda! Whether you're here for a relaxing getaway or an adventure packed holiday, this property promises a perfect blend of comfort and natural beauty. The house enjoys a stunning panoramic view of the award winning and world-famous Horseshoe Bay Beach and enjoys proximity to a local favourite restaurant and golf course.

The rooms of Southern Views are large and spacious with beautiful water views. It is ideal for families and multi-generational get-togethers as it is contained and safe for little ones.

The outdoor covered deck15'x75' will be hard to leave as it has unparalleled views of Horseshoe Bay Beach. The sound of the waves is often louder on the deck than at the beach owing to its crescent shape. The sound of lapping of waves floats up to the home. If you are lucky enough to be here for full moon it is breath taking to watch it rise up out of the ocean, casting its translucent glow across the water. The sunrise happens right in front of the deck above the ocean and is definitely worth waking up for.

Your own very large pool and garden setting filled with wonderful flowering plants and coconut palms make this area your own little oasis to read, swim or sunbathe.

The outdoor dining table also enjoys all these views and sounds. BBQing from this deck makes the chef’s work easy.

The kitchen is a chef’s dream as it is extremely spacious with endless counters and an island for prepping. Gas stove and stainless steel appliances and all the gadgets, dishes and cutlery makes this a dream kitchen. No one will be under foot here. Additionally, the dinning room and living room are all extremely spacious and can provide more than enough space for your group.

We do have a wonderful dedicated chef for hire that can cook breakfast, lunch or dinner as well as drop off prepared food for you so you can stay out of the kitchen if you so choose.

The pool house has a ping pong table and games while the reading cove down stairs has a selection of books to choose from. We have a small swingset. We also have beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, beach blankets, snorkel gear and soft-sided coolers for the beach.

All the bedrooms have their own bathrooms so everyone is free to shower and not have to wait. 3 of the 5 bathrooms have walk-in showers and 1 has a tub/shower for little ones.

The home is a 15-20 minute walk to the world famous Horseshoe Bay Beach.

The Reefs hotel is a 5 minute drive from the home where you can rent vehicles to get around, including electric two seater cars, mopeds and both electric and regular bicycles. You can also enjoy the Reefs hotel’s spa and several restaurants including Coconuts on the beach.

The railway trail is also accessible from the home and you can walk, run or bike it and enjoy beautiful views with areas that are shaded with the gorgeous flora of Bermuda.

There were 8 friends who stayed at this property. The house and the views were exactly as they are represented on the listing. The house was amazing! Clean, comfortable and everything we needed and more! The location of the property made it easy to get any where on the island. And the view....WOW! Spectacular! Jessica was an amazing host. The property was great, the best. Talked to other visitors to the island that went to Horseshoe Bay and they dreamed of staying at your VRBO. Recomend the Hartley Helmet Dive. My best day was at the beach when the Cruises were gone. The people were the ones that really made it great…from the cab driver to busboy I felt safe and welcome. Thank you again!!!

Best house in Bermuda

We rented both villas on this property and it was nothing short of spectacular. We have rented many homes in Bermuda over the years and this was by far the best! Mike was very responsive when we were having water issues due to our large crowd. The walk back from Horseshoe Bay is a little athletic, but worth it and you will want to hit the amazing pool when you get back. We can’t wait to come back.

Beautiful property!

My husband and three children (5.5 and under) stayed for three nights and the house had absolutely everything we needed! The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub the most and we spent the majority of our time there along with eating all of our meals outside on the outdoor deck with ocean views. With the fairmount hotel currently closed getting to the beach was a but harder. We took a taxi just a 5 minute ride which was doable but I would recommend going towards the end of the day when its not very hot dor kids. They had a fantastic time (went at 4pm) the beach was. Quieter and it was a perfect temperature for the kids (no crankiness). Jessica was very quick to communicate with all questions and we would love to come back with our kids. Looking forward to the hotel being renovated so the beach path is open again. Thank you Mike and Jessica for a wonderful stay!

Amazing Property in Best Location

Wow! My extended family of three generations had the most wonderful repeat time in the Burn's property. We took full advantage of the well stocked kitchen to enjoy many intimate meals and cocktail hours at home taking in the beautiful views of Horseshoe Bay from the deck. The house easily absorbed our party and we all found places on the deck, by the pool, and in the interior living spaces to socialize or find time alone. The place is decorated beautifully. The bedrooms were perfect and the beds comfortable. Mike could not have been a more supportive, communicative host. We did not want to leave this slice of paradise and hope to return!

Beautiful home with an incredible view

A great home for our family vacation. The view of Horseshoe Bay was breathtaking. It is more than a 5 minute walk to the beach since the Fairmount Hotel is closed, which was not easy with our little ones. But otherwise a great place.

A dream come true

Our family of 7 people had the most wonderful experience at Southern Views. The Burns family was so welcoming and helped make the trip the best time for all of us. We had two nights of amazing dinners onsite with Pat and Marilyn, and we wished we had scheduled the whole week. Pat is so talented, everything she cooked for the group was creative and delicious! The home and location are spectacular and we hope to be back soon!

Amazing!

Mike and Kim were amazing and gracious hosts. We stayed for a long weekend, Thursday-Sunday, and we had everything we needed. The house was beautiful, clean, accommodating, and in an amazing location with a breathtaking view of the beach. Upon our arrival, Mike met us to give a brief tour before running to his pickleball game. Before leaving, he made sure we had everything we needed - Wi-Fi, taxi numbers, etc. He even had some good jokes. Highly recommend

Beautiful Bermuda Villa

Just returned from a fabulous week in this wonderful villa in Bermuda. From check in to check out, the experience was flawless. The house was very well equipped and our cook extraordinaire & all around support person, Pat Chew, made our trip memorable. We were a group of 8, all adults, and had plenty of room to relax individually & socialize together . Our hosts were off island for the week but made sure we were well taken care of during our stay - even sending over a book they they thought we might like after finding out my brother had worked on the US Naval base there in the 80s! Just a heads up, arrange transportation in advance (our hosts sent info) & collect taxi driver info as you go along because it can be tricky to get taxis on spur of the moment. However, drivers are generally willing to pre-schedule trips with you. The Hitch app (like Uber) worked pretty well & Island Taxi was responsive. We were not brave enough to try a Twizzy! A great trip & wonderful house!

Our family stayed at Kim and Mike’s property for a birthday vacation. Kim was very helpful in providing necessary information about the island to help make sure we had a spectacular time. The house and views of the water were amazing. Would recommend this house to others looking for a relaxing stay in Bermuda. Our first day of the trip there was a tropical storm which left debris in the pool and yard. Mike and Kim the following day had the gardener over to completely clean the yard/pool. Also per Kims recommendation we had the chef Pat cook our family 2 dinners. Her food was excellent and would highly recommend future guests to use Pat. Overall it was a very enjoyable time with very gracious hosts. We look forward to returning!

What a view!

My family of 6 adults and 3 infants had an absolute wonderful and memorable time at Southern Views. The property is just more outstanding as advertised with so many great reviews. The location and view of Horseshoe Bay Beach is something we will never forget. The sound of the ocean and nice breeze daily on the massive porch was a common place for us for all of our meals. We hired Pat for many of our meals and she became a part of our family with her kindness and talent for cooking. Horseshoe Bay Beach was a wonderful place for our family with infants to spend every afternoon and it is the most beautiful beach you will ever encounter with all the coves and clear waters. We sure hope to return to Southern Views again. Lastly, Kim & Mike Burns are just lovely owners and very special hosts that graciously share their treasured property for families to enjoy the best experience in beautiful Bermuda. Bermuda Villa

Beautiful well appointed villa with a spectacular view of Horseshoe Bay! The beach and adjacent coves are spectacular but just be aware that it is nearly a mile steep walk (there is no shortcut) and the beach can get crowded with the cruise ship passengers. That being said, there are enough adjacent small beaches that more seclusion can be found. The pool and decks at the Villa are a delightful and the breathtaking view makes the pool venue a great alternative to the beach. The hosts are lovely, and very responsive. Last recommended tip, order taxis early and have a backup plan. We had multiple taxis cancel on us at the last minute when using both Hitch and Ride Bermuda, and often there are few to be found, especially over in Somerset. Knights taxi picked us up at the airport and Richalene Knight was responsive and reliable.

Beautiful views

Southern Views is a lovely home with beautiful panoramic views of Horseshoe Bay and the Atlantic beyond. The property itself is lovely and the hosts, Kim and Mike, are super helpful and accommodating in every way. The only drawback is that the Fairmont Hotel near the property is closed for renovation right now - June 2023 - and it would have been nice to have the hotel amenities at hand.

Best Time in Bermuda

We’ve been going to Bermuda for years and this was our best stay ever! Southern Views is an amazing home. Beautiful views, comfortable beds and a warm and welcoming home. Perfect for our family vacation. The hosts, Kim and Mike, are incredibly attentive. Answered our questions within minutes and are such nice Bermudians. I highly recommend this home to anyone wanting a beautiful home that will give you a fun and relaxing stay.
