“Vi syntes hotellet er rigtig godt og vi var meget glade for den service vi fik. Dog er der små steder hvor store forbedringer kan laves. Det er bestemt ikke et 5 stjernet hotel efter vores standard, men hvis man ser på prisen og kvaliteten er det det bedste større hotel i Albanien.”

“Wir sind zufällig auf die Melesin Distillery gestoßen und haben uns dort sofort wohlgefühlt. Die Zimmer sind sauber, modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet – perfekt zum Runterkommen. Die Crew war zwar etwas ungeschult, aber durchweg freundlich und bemüht. Man hat gemerkt, dass sie sich Mühe geben, und das zählt für uns. Insgesamt war es ein richtig schöner Aufenthalt. Wir haben den Ort auch direkt weiterempfohlen – wer Ruhe, Natur und ein stilvolles Ambiente sucht, ist hier genau richtig.”

“We loved this property - the staff is attentive, breakfast was rich and you can also have breakfast in the nice garden, they have free parking. We booked a double room and the reception guy showed us the newly renovated section of the hotel which was recently built he said. The room had a huge and modern bathroom, the room was spacious and spotless. It is a great hotel and would definitely stay again. The only disadvantage was there were mosquitos in the rooms so make sure you bring a mosquito……

“Store! fine rom. Mener det sto 4m2, men det var vel egentlig 40m2. Bygget og rommene er helt nytt og alt fungerte helt perfekt. Hotellet tok kontakt før vi kom og tok oss godt imot. Det er litt trangt å komme frem til parkeringen, men verten stilte alltid opp og ordnet dette for oss. Frokost ble ordnet til det tidspunktet vi ønsket og var helt ok, men kunne gjerne variert litt fra dag til dag med litt frukt eller lignende.”

“This is a lovely old well maintained hotel at top of Gjirokaster with great views over valley and hills. Rooms were in excellent condition and breakfast was amazing - the best we had anywhere in Albania. Highly recommended.”

“Beautiful hotel, newly built last year. Beautifully decorated in Albanian style and lots of Albanian pictures/artefacts etc on show. Room was very comfortable and a good size, shower was lovely. Breakfast was great, was made when we arrived in morning and brought out to us fresh. This included some hot Albanian foods, fruit, juice, coffee, cake. Lovely! Staff very friendly and helpful and the manager gave us a lift up to the town at night. Location great, just about 10 minute walk to bus……

“Absolutely perfect hotel. The view, the pools, the room, the restaurant, the service. Everything was perfect. You absolutely have to try the restaurant for dinner, the view is unbeatable.”

“Great rooms, immaculate, comfortable, air conditioning good when I worked out how to work it. First remote was broken but reception quickly gave me a replacement. Rooms very spacious. Good breakfast selection. They took orders for coffee, the rest was buffet. Very helpful with taxi and directions to chemist due to me being unwell. Beautiful breathtaking views from breakfast table. We would definitely stay here again. Right in centre as well, 20 mins or so walk to the castle, 5 mins from river……
