“Amazing place and outstanding service. The place is beautiful: elegant colonial building and the beautifully furnished rooms. We spent 4 nights at the spacious regatta suite. Breakfast was excellent and Denise was very kind - it was nice to dine together with the other guests and chat. The only downsides are that the place is located on a busy road across from a gas station. Yet, once you are inside you cannot hear that.”

“Lovely large room with ensuite. We arrived around 4.30pm which was right on closing time. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Convenient for an overnight stay. Dining options are limited in the area. Our stay included breakfast but the menu is limited. I read you can order a meal from the dining options but you need to give a few hours notice and it’s left in the fridge in the dining room. ”

“Rathmore was everything we had hoped for a tranquil weekend escape. We stayed in the Shearer’s Quarters, separate from the main homestead and very private, with delicious meals delivered by Cally - the lamb ragu was a favourite, highly recommended. “Absolute luxury! Our host Leonie was fantastic. From walking in the front door it felt like walking through pages of a magazine! Our room was huge and included two large arm chairs, huge bed that was so comfortable and a beautiful big bathroom with floor heating.
