“Great tiny house, clean and modern fittings. The heated bathroom floor and the spa (shared) was a win for this property. We were able to see local wallaby and surprisingly some peacocks by the neighbours tree. Warm bread delivery daily as part of the stay was another win as we stayed during a very cold few days. Would stay again but on the other buildings facing the mountains as we had limited view being cut off by the other tiny homes. ”

“Katy the owner was so friendly as well her dog Butler. Beautiful river which is easy access from the cabins. Our stay was short due to other committments during the day but by night it was so peaceful. We bonded because of no wi-fi which was great not having kids or us on technology. Different experience for us from our normal hotel/motel stay but we loved it. ”

“The waterfall was beautiful and only a short walk away. The cabin we stayed in was stunning and well used during the rain with its huge verandah. We would have stayed forever but unfortunately we ran out of money! Teressa was wonderful and we hope to chat again over a cuppa tea next time when she is not rushed. ”

“Our stay in Illinbah was hugely anticipated, and more than lived up to expectations. The cottage is simple but beautifully decorated with fresh, quality furnishings and modern fixtures. The kitchen is well stocked with really lovely crockery and glassware. The hosts have anticipated their guests beautifully - we had everything we needed and nothing we didn’t. We loved the fire pit, the deck and bbq / outdoor dining and lounging, the fancy chickens and cute cows.It’s such a beautiful spot, and……

“It was a great stay, despite the rain. The next day, when the rain cleared, the views were fantastic! We couldn't get the hotplates to work, tried everything, and perhaps an instruction brochure or pointers would have been helpful. Apart from that, the apartment is beautifully appointed, with great heating and fantastic beds! I will definitely recommend this stay.”

“Stoney Chute Studio is perfect. The mezzanine bedroom and bathroom are huge. The whole studio is huge. Full kitchen, lounge and dining areas. Water pressure is amazing with hot hot water. Completely off grid although you’d never know. The hosts are both amazing people. I spoilt myself and ordered dinner during my stay and was delighted at the meal prepared. If you get a chance, book a workshop with the hosts. I will definitely be back. ”

“Clean and comfortable farm stay in an absolutely beautiful location in the hills about 10 minutes drive from Murwillumbah. We used it as our base to do the northern rivers rail trail. It was excellent- close enough to murwillumbah to shop for groceries but a quiet country retreat tucked away in the hills. ”
