“The cottage was super cute, great location, everything we needed. The only item to note is that due to the homes age (which is part of its character), the bathroom toilet area is very snug. It worked fine, but I do think it is to be noted if you have any above average sized folks joining you. Had a great location, walkable to many things, including Saturday Farmers Market. ”

“We came to Southern Pines for a family wedding. This location was perfect for us. The cottage is close to food and drink. We walked daily to the nearby Weymouth Center which has beautiful walking trails. The kitchen and bathroom were stocked with everything we needed. We plan to return when visiting family again in the future. ”

“Quick solo trip for a retirement luncheon. Arrived a little later than expected. Due to the great location I was able to find some quick late night food and a wonderful cup of coffee first thing in the morning without hassle. Accommodation were as listed and I loved the decor. I highly recommend this stay. I hope to be a return visitor for a little bit longer next time as this property and Pinhurst are lovely, ”

“Our family of 4 golfers stayed a long weekend in Apr 2025The house, cleanliness and space were perfect. Although the pool was still a bit chilly, that did not negatively impact our stay. Location was perfect to the Pinehurst area golf courses. Having stayed at multiple VBROs in golf communities over the past year, I would offer some suggestions to ensure a consistent top rating. With golfers and families the property needs more than 1 TV that is in the family room. Place TVs in every BR to……

“The Cowboy worked well for 4 couples in Pinehurst for golf. Very well appointed. Our group loved spending nights in back around the firepit with that fun mural on the garage--felt like our own private bar. Location works. The common area downstairs could be a bit larger to accommodate all guests at once. Overall, highly recommend this property.”
