“Rathmore was everything we had hoped for a tranquil weekend escape. We stayed in the Shearer’s Quarters, separate from the main homestead and very private, with delicious meals delivered by Cally - the lamb ragu was a favourite, highly recommended. Both hosts, Richard and Cally, encouraged us to wander the historic property, which felt a little like stepping back in time to a more peaceful era. We even saw one of the dam’s resident platypus! “Absolute luxury! Our host Leonie was fantastic. From walking in the front door it felt like walking through pages of a magazine! Our room was huge and included two large arm chairs, huge bed that was so comfortable and a beautiful big bathroom with floor heating. Lovely balcony to have a cuppa on watching the Paddy Melons when they came for a visit. Excellent tea/coffee, biscuits, microwave and great shower/bath products - every thing you’d need. Breakfast was superb, fantastic crockery,……
