“Our stay here was magical! Communication with David was a breeze from the start. Due to flight times from Florida, we arrived in the evening, but he was there to greet us with his warm smile & friendly demeanor. The cottage is ideal! You will think you stepped into a "Maine Cottages" magazine. It is well equipped, and was capable of hosting our "Lobstah Boil" with 20 guests, a live Jazz Saxophonist & a keyboard player! The views can't be beat. Want to kayak? Want to canoe? Conveniently located……

The location can’t be beat, the house has everything you need to include comfy beds and nice linens, plenty of places to enjoy the company of others or enjoy some solitude. It really is a gem. “We had 3 generations staying in the Friendly Cottage and all of us loved it. The grandkids loved climbing down the rocks to the little beach in front of the cottage and walking to nearby Cedar Beach to swim. My husband, son, and grandson really enjoyed playing golf at Highland Green Golf Club in Topsham. My daughter-in-law and I were happy just sitting in the red chairs in front of the cottage watching lobstermen pull up their traps and reading our books. We all enjoyed sailing on the……

“Everything about our stay was fantastic. We really enjoyed the views, kayaking on the lake, seeing the stars, and listening to the loons. The location is perfect...close to the town, beaches, and trails, but also quietly secluded for that perfect peaceful getaway. The house was extremely clean, inviting, and comfortable. Wendy was a very generous and gracious host and made sure our stay was special. We can't wait to visit again”

“Property was everything as advertised with lots of little touches to make sure you had what you needed. Parkingwas right by the front door with your own entrance. Beautiful flowers and landscaping with a morning hummingbird greeting us as we ate our own breakfast on the front porch -not sure the hosts would be able to guarantee a hummingbird in their listing but was an added delight!There are full flight of stairs to spacious living quarters but gorgeous photographs and art work top enjoy as……

“Great location and interesting layout in this historic house. It was the perfect respite for our stay before our puffin tour the next day and close to town for a concert on the common and restaurants. Note : to access one of the bedrooms you need to go through the bathroom, but it worked out fine. Dmitri was super communicative and was kind enough to let us know we left a pair of shoes there after we departed. Since we were still in the area, he left them on the porch for us to retrieve, which……
