“We had an awesome stay at anchor beach house in Oct. The house is spacious with two levels. There are three rooms and one bathroom on the first level. The second level comprises a large living room, an open kitchen, a suite and balcony (large enough to have a bbq there). The house is modernly furnished and everything is perfectly clean. “We had a great time staying in this comfortable and conveniently located unit. Perfectly equipped in all the necessary appliances to make our stay away from home just right. Only a 10 minute walk from great coffees, even shorter walk to a great lunch place and a quick drive to the dog beach. “Really nice place, clean and comfortable. The owners were easy to deal and nothing was any trouble.”

“The house, while small, was comfy and had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were very comfortable, as was the couch. I found the kitchen to be well stocked with plastic ware for the kids to eat on as well (terrific idea!) Dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, all look quite new. The kids found Connect 4 which they enjoyed playing, but no other games or cards to speak of (so just bring your own). We made use of the Weber and the coonara (wood supplied). The property has a big backyard……

“This place was perfect for our family! Enough space for all of us and felt like home. It felt new and modern and very clean inside. The only thing I would mention however we didn’t need to use was the outdoor space. If we were to use it it would have been nice to see that area cleaned too as it would have been quite dirty to walk on bare foot (kitchen upstairs leads out to alfresco dining). However would definitely consider booking again when in Torquay next ”

bad experience

"The room type provided was completely different from what was booked, very old and dirty. The carpet was extremely dirty, the water flow in the bathroom was very small, and the electronic lock couldn't be locked at first. It took a long time to figure out that it required a lot of force to close it. I asked the platform to communicate with the hotel about the room's problem and was hung up on several times. They only said that it was full and couldn't handle it, so why should I book it? Terrible attitude and very, very poor housing experience"
