The bed was lovely and comfortable. All the staff were very attentive and chatty. I would highly recommend anyone in the area to give this hotel a go. The rooms are exceptional value compared to others in the area of the same price.”

“Very attractive gastro pub off the beaten track. Excellent food and range of drinks. I was fortunate the weather was glorious so an evening in the beer garden was appreciated. The room was a good size if only a little dated. The large sash window offered little in sound proofing but had the most glorious view across a field of sunflowers. Breakfast was ordered and freshly served in the main dining hall. You could tell the produce was fresh and locally sourced. Very appetising. In all a very……

“Only issue we had is that the bathroom would automatically lock when shut and the thermostat wouldn’t change despite us trying to change the temperature ”

“This hotel is unique in that, apart from the excellent rooms and service, I think it would be difficult to find a place anywhere with such lovely views of a river, a harbour and scenery that is picture postcard beautiful.”
