“We stayed here with our two dogs for a weekend, just to get away from the city and our regular weekend grind. The home has a lovely original “cabin” A-frame with an upstairs loft, and a gas fireplace that kept the main room nice and warm. There is a main bedroom and bathroom addition that is very generous in size and spotlessly clean. Kitchen is compact but very functional, and appointed with everything we needed for two nights of movies, board games and home made meals. We are already talking……

“We absolutely loved this little home. It had breathtaking views that made you feel far from everything even though you're just in a typical suburb. The house is old and it's obvious, but that adds to the rustic charm. You can tell the owner loves it. There are kayaks and firewood in the garage and some basic kitchen essentials. “Our family had the best time at this cabin! It was adorable and had everything needed to cook and make meals for a big crowd. We hung outside most of the time. The outdoor space is the perfect place to eat and play games together. Enjoyed picking blackberries, watching the wildlife, making smores at the fire pit, and playing outdoor games. “Small (~600sq ft) but everything you need in a lakeside stay for a few people. Dock is amazing to play or lounge on and picnic table outside made up for the small indoor table. We stayed on this lake last year and love the quaint peacefulness on the water. Pedal boat and kayaks are very nice amenities. Furniture could use an upgrade. The master bedframe was threatening collapse, the couch was worn and the stools around the table were wobbly at odd heights. Small couch is the only comfortable……

“It is a lovely home and well stocked with everything one might need in the kitchen. Lots of games available as well. It's peaceful and well taken care of. The listing had said there was indoor ping pong, and bikes to use, of which neither were available to us. That was a bit disappointing as it was one of the reasons we rented from this home. We also weren't able to access the upstairs TV. Overall it was pretty clean and comfortable. It did appear that no one had been there in awhile……
