“Studio ist wirklich gut. Alles, was man braucht. Parking Einfahrt etwas eng, aber Ok. 4 Tage vor Reise gebucht. Schlecht: Code für Eintritt kompliziert. Gemäss Hotels.com kommt Code 24h vor Anreise. P gebucht. Habe NACHTS 17h vor Ankunft bzgl Schlüssel-Code telefoniert. Hotels.com ruft Hotel an, gibt Buchung und Email, ich müsse ID Kopie senden! Ich muss danach Hotel anrufen. Die wüssten von nichts. Ich müsste mich voranmelden, mit Email gehe das gar nicht!! Aber sein Kollege hätte genau das……

“- die Spülmaschine war defekt (wir mussten für 7 Personen alles von Hand spülen - die Verdunkelung im Esszimmer war defekt - die versprochene Mikrowelle fehlte - der Wasserkocher fehlte - keine Eierbecher und Eierlöffel bzw. Kaffeelöffel aber wir hatten trotz allem ein sehr schönes Wochenende. ”

“Nette Gastgeber, gute Kommunikation, sehr gut ausgestattete Wohnung mit guten Betten, ruhige Umgebung (zumindest in den 4 Tagen), Lage am Ortsrand, mit dem Auto schnell in der Umgebung mit vielen interessanten Sehenswürdigkeiten. Wir kommen gern wieder! Achtung: Parkplatz langsam anfahren, Kuppe!”

“Excellent value for the money! The flat has a perfect location. It is within walking distance to a supermarket, and two precious French towns, St. Louis and Huningue. Both towns have a pharmacy, bakery, restaurants, and shops. Colmar, France is 45 minutes away and the train station in Basil is about 6 km. ”

“A very comfortable spot for our stay: pleasant sitting area, comfortable beds, roomy bathrooms. Easy to get to the #14 tram and onto a highly efficient public transport system. A COOP market and a coffee shop just one block away and a fine restaurant (Murano) a long block in the opposite direction. ”

“We stayed with our 6 year old and had a very nice time, a bed was set up for him on the couch! The flat and location is very quiet and cozy and in an easy location to explore Basel. Check in was simple. There is a great coffee shop, Coop (grocery), and pizza within walking distance and is very easy to get to from the train station as well. It was clean and comfortable and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thanks for hosting us. ”

“Great place to stay in Basel. Close to public transportation. The 2 bedroom apartment we stayed had all basic amenities for a family of 4. A full size kitchen , washer dryer was awesome. The AC was not that good but a fan in the room helped. It would have been great to have a fan in each room. We kept the windows slightly open to let some fresh cool air in at night. But it invited some bugs too.. and noise of trams& cars passing by. Extra towels would have been helpful, we had to wash……

“Thanks to the receptionist Samuel for his excellent service and recommendations for local dining restaurants. All the staff in the hotel was friendly and helpful with personal warmth. The hotel itself is at great location, clean room, and free minibar provided. We had a wonderful experience staying in Marthof Hotel and will definitely stay here again next time when we come back. ”

A bit far but very nice hotel

"It is a bit far from the Basel train station but the tram number 8 can take you nearby, hotel host upgraded my room to a bigger size on top floor, while you cannot imagine it is a big hotel from outside, good bathroom with enough hot and water pressure, easy to reach most of the Basel old town attractions"
