“We stayed in the cottage while attending a UF graduation. It was a pleasure staying away from the congestion of G'ville. Instead, we enjoyed a beautiful drive via 441 right into town, about 15 minutes away. The mattresses were pretty soft - a 2 night max for me, thus the 4 stars. But the cottage was comfortable, we loved sitting on the front porch, enjoying the breeze & the scent of jasmine. The location didn't lend itself to taking walks, but there are nearby options for that.”

“The listing indicated the rental was a house. However it is almost a studio apartment attached to a house.The space itself was clean and convenient for my overnight stay. Future renters should be aware there are dogs on the property that are quite vocal and the refrigerator is dorm sized but cold.”

“The cabin was perfect and exactly what we needed. The lake was everything we hoped for. We kayaked, fished, swam and reconnected. The water is clear. The WiFi works well within the cabin and porch area. Make sure to map your way out before leaving. There is a store about three miles away just in case you forgot anything . The host was kind and helpful. Can’t say enough good things about Ed and Wanda. I definitely recommend this place for a quiet getaway as a couple or a family. ”

“This is a great location right by the springs. You can walk if you want. Great friendly diner on the same block. And being Florida, it’s great that they have indoor games if the kids get bored. Huge fenced yard if you need it fire pit and other outside activities. A lot packed into this home. We really enjoyed our stay!”

“We needed a place to evacuate to from our coastal home during Hurricane Milton. The owners are kind and generous. We have everything we need here and were able to extend our trip a couple days since we do not have power at home yet. We are still here and enjoy the quiet now after the storm. The house is comfortable and decorated beautifully. We want to bring our kids back here during the summer for a family trip to visit the area and do some trail hiking. “Our stay at this precious cottage was exactly what we needed after traveling and festivities at college graduation. The decor was obviously carefully curated by the owners with impeccable antiques as well as one of a kind crafted pieces. We were all extremely comfortable in the large beds with fresh clean linens, the adorable bathroom and full kitchen. “We stayed during an evacuation from hurricane Milton. It was a little hard to find due to our GPS issue but we were able to navigate on our own. Our first impression was the tranquility of the property. The cottage was very clean & our host had turned on the a/c so it was very comfortable. The property owner came over & made us feel very welcome & we enjoyed meeting his sweet dogs. We were told we had free access to explore the property which is absolutely beautiful.
