“After nearly 2500 miles across country at 100 plus degree temperatures. This retreat exceeded all expectations. “This was, by far, the best girl's weekend you could ask for! The views are stunning. No verbal description or picture can do justice to the real thing, but Rick's description of the property is spot on. They have really thought of everything you could possibly want or need for your stay. I'd like to say it sucked so I could keep this location all to myself, lol, but that would be a lie and a huge disservice to our amazing host! We will be back! Don't know when, but we will be back. “The property was amazing and everything that the listing showed. Very private cabin on the ridge. Everything worked! Multiple grills onsite for meals! The only minor issue is when arriving, there is another house immediately when you turn onto the property. Maybe I missed it, but it would be good to have in the welcome packet to proceed past the first house.”

“Our cabin was beautiful and so roomy. Loved the kitchen and not sure I’ve ever seen a bathroom as big as the master. Didn’t use the huge jetted tub but I’m sure it was relaxing. We did take advantage of the hot tub. It was a big hit with our family. Super comfy beds too. Came home one day and went to open one of the dining room windows and there laid two 8 pt bucks right outside. Liked to scared me to death. Ha. We also were greeted with two does daily. All in all a wonderful mountain……

“The house is very well located in Mountain Village. It was an easy 3 minute drive to the Market to catch the gondola to the bottom of the ski village. The house itself was great. There is a ton of living space to spread out with family and friends. The view on the back porch was great and made for great outdoor dining and sitting. My only criticism, which is very minor is that there were several pillows without pillow cases when we arrived and the downstairs bathtub was dirty. That is mostly a……

“We loved our stay at the Laughing Coyote. If you are looking for quiet and solitude, this is the place. The cabin was comfy and had everything we needed. We explored the MANY trails around the area and fell more in love with the western side of the San Juans. Helpful info to know: you are 38 miles (1 hour drive) from Dolores on dirt roads. The roads to/from Rico are not as maintained so the drive is over an hour. The distance didn't bother us, since the views are breathtaking either direction.……
