“We rented the main house and guest house for a ski trip with our kids and some of their college friends. Upon arrival, the place was spotless! There was plenty of room for sleeping and hanging out. Guest house was also perfect. Kitchen was well stocked. Gore mountain very close also convenient to supermarket and a few restaurants. Only minor issue was inconsistent water pressure which is not unusual in ski / lake houses like.this. Would definitely rent again ”

“We are a group of artists painting together in the Adirondacks for a week. It was the perfect size and price for us. The front porch was fantastic with its swing and lots of seating, up on a hill set back from the lake with a large house between the two. There is a walk through the woods to a dock that we swam from. The living room is the size of a tiny bedroom, it was disappointing but looking back at the photos it’s as they showed. “Small but cozy building from early 20th century with add on living room and bathroom. Some of the instructions didn't match the reality ( lights on ,no wifi pw needed) . No tv,wifi was spotty.propane ,electric and space heating provided and heavy comforters.15 minutes from gore mt 25 to town with stores and restaurants. Need 4wd in winter due to gravel roads.Good value . Was warned about dog who woke us up barking outside wimdow at 10pm. Looks like it would be fun in warm weather with Hot tub……

“My son and I loved this property for our week-long fishing vacation. Such a quaint/ peaceful/ clean/ well equipped space. Hosts Kim and Henry couldn't have been any nicer and accommodating during our stay. We felt very much at home with full use of the dock/waterfront area for swimming/ fishing/ paddling/ boating ... and more fishing!Great Sacandaga Lake is great for fishing/boating with lots to offer within 15-20 minutes - yet more low-key than other big lakes nearby.
