WEEKLY DISCOUNTS, BOAT RENTAL: Luxury retreat with relaxing pool! 5 bedroom, 4 bath entire Luxury estate home on 3 acres with private gate. Backyard Pool (optional to heat) & hot tub, private boat dock on Lake Travis (Pedernales river arm). Two living areas, (downstairs living w/ 60" TV, upstairs game room w/ 60" TV), pool table or ping pong. 2 covered patios (upstairs and downstairs). Full gourmet kitchen with double convection oven, convection microwave, dishwasher, and built in 48" refrigerator, plus small appliances (kitchen Aid mixer, Vitamix blender, toaster, moccamaster drip coffee maker & Keurig) . Firepit overlooking beautiful Lake Travis River. Dining seats 10, breakfast area overlooking pool seats 4-6, plus the kitchen bar area seats 4. Each bedroom has a private bath with the exception of pool bath sharing with downstairs guest room. Master & 1 guest room downstairs. Gym on upstairs open air patio. We have bedroom closets locked but each room has a wardrobe for hanging clothes + dressers. Gas grill, road to the lake (can rent golf cart or walk, it's a 100yrds downhill, just steep). Lake fun includes Paddle boards & a kayak on the dock. You may bring your own boat (22frt or less) or rent from a local marina or check our ATX Boat Charters on facebook. (I can provide information for boat rentals if needed)

Pool heated upon arrival for an additional $75-150/night.....many great adventures around including:
Parks, Springs, Wineries, Breweries, Distilleries, Icehouse, BBQ, Pizza, Steakhouse, Beautiful Sunsets!!!!Next door to Apis & Sorelina Restaurants, across the street from a convenience store, just a coupe miles to the famous Poodies Roadhouse, Angels Icehouse and several other fabulous restaurants......

We stayed as a large group for a college reunion and 30th birthday trip. The space was perfect for our needs and so relaxing! The hosts had clear explanations of how to use anything in the house. Plenty of parking in the driveway, private space. Great amenities, good kitchen equipment, and washer/dryer. A large group will need to be okay sharing space--it was comfortable for our group of 10 adults, but more would've been cramped. The farmer's market next door was wonderful, and it was close to wineries, county parks, grocery, and restaurants if you have a car. Uber is readily available, but I would recommend having a car. The water access is limited due to low water levels and a very steep climb, but we didn't end up using it anyway because the pool was exactly what we needed :)

This home was perfect for our quick family getaway. Our group included 3 generations and there was something for everyone. The kids enjoyed the pool and game room while the adults enjoyed the home and scenic views while the kids were occupied. We also enjoyed the local distillery and local winery. We hope to visit again!

Maybe some people on the listings have different expectations of cleanliness, but to me the property did not seem clean. Most definitely would not describe this listing as luxury as we have stayed in so many luxury properties. If you’re looking to stay somewhere with tons of very personal touches, this property may be for you but for me, I preferably do not like all the clutter. We specifically booked this property for two evenings to be able to enjoy the water as it is listed as a waterfront property. To our disappointment there no water as the lake has dried up in that area And it is quite a mess down near the dock Not easily accessible. We ended up leaving the first night because it just did not fit our expectations and ended up paying for a night that we did not stay. When I did let them know about the water level And our dissatisfaction the response I received was that they charge twice the price when water level is up. Also, when I mentioned that the property was not as clean as we expected, the host suggested that she come over there and I show her what I did not like . Well, I understand this is a gesture of good faith This is not the confrontation I was looking for on vacation. In order for this listing to be accurate, I feel like they should make some updates to their description in order to prevent another issue like we had

We loved our stay in Spicewood! The property is very large with plenty of room to play. Bedrooms & bathrooms were very spacious and the bed linens provided were comfortable (everyone commented on this!). The backyard and pool were amazing as well but at the time we were there, the lake/river where this house sits was dried up so we we not able to enjoy the lake activities as we’d hoped.

Best equipped house we have ever booked - and we VRBO quite frequently. We cooked all of our meals there and they have literally everything. Amazing pool. Great layout. Serious downhill trek down to the water, which was shockingly low because our lack of rain. But, we loved, loved, loved this property. Highly recommend.

First off the owner is the best I have ever felt with you are not clueless on any thing about the home . Joy has everything you need to know to operate home in finest detail. Property is wonderful for outside fun—fishing, swimming, fire pit. Plenty of inside room—pool table is a big plus—with lovely accoutrements and amazingly stocked kitchen. After many VRBO rentals, think the most unique, and favorable, element of this property is the responsiveness of owner/manager who is unusually willing to help make the stay amazing. Thanks!

Joy was an absolute pleasure to communicate with! She was always ensuring everything was working and up to par, and would send very detailed instructions via text if needed. Instructions and labels all over the property helped immensely with various workings of the house and pool/hot tub. The pool and hot tub were amazing and everything you would need was all available and present! The area is a 30 minute drive from downtown Austin so you would definitely need a car to get around, but we spent a lot of our time enjoying the pool and the home so it was perfect for our needs! We had a fantastic stay! Just me, my spouse, and two kids. Ms Joy was very responsive and helpful. The house was incredible. Fun little details everywhere. Outdoor areas great. Location was very convenient. We got everything that was promised. Only comment, and I by no means intend this as a negative, but just beware that it is a very steep trail to and from the lake.
