“Our family had such a wonderful stay at this cabin. It’s only about a 15 minute drive to Silverwood. We just had a hard time wanting to leave the lake because it was so beautiful. Tons of fish, ducks, turtles, squirrels, wild turkeys and blue heron. We even passed a house with two camels on our way to Silverwood & heard there was a Mama and baby Moose nearby but we didn’t see them. I could’ve happily sat out on the back deck and watched animals all day. Communication was wonderful from beginning……

“We loved staying at this cabin--the view was beautiful, it was so well set up for the dogs, the lake was so clear and clean for swimming, paddle boarding and playing fetch with the dogs. It was nice to have such a big dock to hang out on and swim from. The cabin was clean, comfortable and spacious and the deck was awesome. “We very much enjoyed this secluded, quiet property. Access to the water and views from the deck were fantastic. The house is very well stocked with all the kitchen amenities you will need and we lacked for nothing during our stay. The only negative was the constantly squeaking ramp to the dock; that grew tiresome after an hour and really disturbed the tranquility of the place. The entire dock needs work as well. Multiple nails protruding and the ramp up to it looks like it will not support……

“My wife and I had an amazing stay at this lovely "bunk house". We were very excited about the claw foot tub and being near horses, but we assumed the rest of the experience would be pretty basic. We were wrong, everything was way above our expectations! The attention to detail that the hosts have put into this place is the most I have ever seen. Everything you may need has been provided, with more hidden away in cupboards just in case. We got a lovely tour of the farm from the cutest, and……

"As a continental breakfast, the variety was actually quite good. Unfortunately, the hotel really needs a better chef—the potatoes were mushy and burnt, sausages took 30 minutes to come out, the eggs were overcooked, and the toaster setting was too long, leaving the bread burnt. The room itself was decent, but check-in was a nightmare. We waited nearly an hour because of poor communication between the hotel and EXPEDIA. Even though we had already paid, the hotel almost charged us again. Too many issues overall. The only real highlight was the swimming pool, which our child absolutely loved"
