“My wife, kids, grandparents and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Riverfront Modern House over the last weekend! The home is very spacious and easily accommodated our large group. In addition, we appreciated the stylish decor and the fact that the house was immaculate. The property is an easy drive to and from the the New Paltz Main St and Farmer's Market, so we conveniently headed into town for shopping and meals. We all took advantage of the barbeque grill on our last evening there,……

“My family, husband and daughter, stayed her with two other families. The space was perfect for the amount of people we had. Communication with the owner was excellent. We had an issue with the hot water at one point and he was right on it with a plumber coming to the house and we had hot water within a couple of hours. The property is beautiful with lots to do on the lake with the supplied kayaks and boats. We would absolutely stay here again! One note though- we did bring a tv with us. ……

“Nice space, perfect soaking tub, two fire pits! Grill and pizza oven. We enjoyed peaceful star filled evenings. Quiet nights and baby deer running around in the mornings. Local goat sanctuary is a must for a hike with the goats. Reasonably close hikes, to waterfalls and swimming holes, check if you need a permit, the water was ice cold at first, perfect for the weather, we spent a while there, then back for some grilling!We enjoyed the stove and record collection. We were a family with a guest……

“An ideal place to forget about the city, perfect for a long weekend”

“First of all, very impressed with everything provided in the cabin pretty much everything we can think of was already there so we definitely overpacked.. The property was amazing crossing down into the river in the backyard with the fire ring was especially a very cool experience. The big side property was great for a little wiffle ball game with my nephew…. Close by down the road was a nice hike to the fire tower. Overall, an excellent experience. Big plus on Wi-Fi since there’s zero cell……

“Our stay was great even though it rained 3 days we were there the house is very cozy and if you open up all the blinds it’s like you’re still sitting outside! If you have a dog this is a perfect place to set them up with a long lead and let them hang outside with you or walk the property with them which our dog never got old of! Definitely will be staying here again in the fall. ”

“The overall stay was very pleasant. The property was easy to find and the check process went smoothly. The cabin was very clean upon arrival and everything was as the host described it. The kitchen facilities were nice and spacious. While we didn’t cook much, it was nice to use for small meals. The bathroom was also neat and clean. ”

The location is incredibly peaceful yet still close to the highway and town. We loved making s’mores by the fire pit, and the hosts couldn’t have been nicer.”
