“Property was spacious, clean and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable and home was well stocked with towels and bedding. The owners were very knowledgeable and friendly as well. It was much nicer than staying in a hotel room. Bring your own entertainment if you need something to do. ”

“I have stayed in log cabins before, real log cabins not prefab stuff so I know what a pain they can be maintenance wise. the logs twist and turn, its just what happens. we had more than a few drafts, but the heaters kept us warm. everyone slept well in the beds. the pond behind this place is an awesome sight in morning. it had a bunch of Canadian geese and ducks on it every morning. I took my kids and my grand kids skiing at Sipapu, they had a blast. drove up to Eagle nest in a pretty good snow……

“There are many people who have overly inflated expectations of what a hotel stay should be. The Springer Station takes those expectations and turns them on their head with a very characterful and charming experience. Sure, it's a shared bathroom place and the door knob on your room turns the wrong way but don't let that detract from the eclectic experience of staying in this historic building. The staff were pleasant enough, busying themselves with Halloween trick or treaters that evening.……
