“I was surprised that there wasn’t a coffee maker or ice bucket in our room. We’d love to be able to walk to a nearby restaurant but this is a first world problem!! “Staff very friendly. I stayed there for my son's wedding at The Southern Oaks. When I got dressed for the wedding, I had no one to help zip me up. I called the Front Deck and the super friendly lady came right up to my room to zip me up from the back. So, thoughtful. The room was very nice and clean and breakfast was great. “I know I selected a lower price hotel, but dang. The pictures on Expedia were ••NOT•• representative of the property. The pictures on Expedia were clean and lovely, the property was NOT. The walls had odd brown splotches. The linens appeared clean but stained. The room smelled STRONGLY of the flowery-scented cleaner. The chair in the room was threadbare, all the vinyl was picked off.
