It was the right amount of secluded while also be close to restaurants and shops — and right next to Sequoia. Spending the day at the park, surrounded by tourists made coming back to this property to relax on the riverbank in seclusion and peace almost made the house itself the primary attraction of this trip. 11/10, would book again. ”

“We really enjoyed this property. It is much like a camp which was comfortable and kitschy. If you are high maintenance, not the place for you but 99% of folks will love it. The outside deck is wonderful. Added 10 new birds to my life list. The most outstanding aspect of this property is the proximity to Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. “The house had everything we needed for our visit to Sequoia National Park. The area was nice, quiet and private. There was enough sleeping space for our group but the beds are very uncomfortable. The house definitely needs some work and updating. There was stickers on the sliding glass door, smiley face stickers on all the cabinets, part of the cabinet was broken off, sink in the bar area did not work and the upstairs of the house is unbelievably hot with no way to adjust the thermostat. The hosts were very helpful with things like restaurant recommendations and very clear directions to the address, which was great as the gps has no service there. We would definitely recommend staying there to visit both Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.”

Great location for visiting the Sequoia National Park. The kitchen was well equipped and living areas comfortable. Only negative was the master bathroom needing a little TLC and some areas a bit more dusting.”
