“Because VRBO made it impossible to update my email address, I did not receive the latest news from the owner that she had changed the code on the door lock. That meant calling to get help before we could enter. because we were there in the off season, we were able to park in a space near the unit. In high season having to park 3blocks away is not ideal. Unit very clean and comfortable. entrance not welcoming. ”

“I spent a rainy weekend at the ‘Chic Studio Cabin in Boothbay Harbor’ for a personal meditation retreat, and it was exactly what I needed. Even with the rain, the cabin was warm and cozy thanks to the propane fireplace. I loved soaking in the beautiful claw-foot tub while listening to the rain—it was so relaxing.The views of the water were peaceful, and I really enjoyed watching the nesting ospreys nearby. The space was so comfortable and calming, I didn’t want to leave. I’m already looking……

“Our stay was great. The space was exactly what it stated in the description. The only issue we had was with the water as it smelled horrible like eggs. We bought water to drink and cook with and our showers were very short using boiled water and sometimes we sucked it up and showered with smelly water. The owners were receptive and apologetic and gave us a partial refund. They were very nice. Location of the place was great. it was peace and other than the smelly water we truly enjoyed our stay.……

“Perfect spot and perfect size for my husband and I to stay to help with my son's wedding. Close to everything downtown and only 2 miles from wedding venue. No noise even though there was another place above us. Had induction cooktop whic was easy to use to cook breakfast. Ample size bathroom, bed was comfy. It had a small fan but recommend an AC unit for those sunny hot days. It's Oct so to be fair, they may have had one and taken it out. But it was very humid for this time of year and had to……

“Hubby and I enjoyed our stay. It was nice watching the lobster boats go in and out of the bay every day. I actually did see a dolphin on our second day there but none after that. Getting in and out of the drivers side of our vehicle was a bit rough; as we used our new pick up truck to take on vacation, and there isn't a lot of room between the yard and the railroad tie wall. I'd return though. ”

“This is a cute little apartment in a charming location. Brianne was friendly and responded quickly to questions and issues with WiFi. I do think the listing should be adjusted to be clearer about the following: 1) The bedroom, while large, is on the floor above the rest of the apartment, with a long and steep flight of stairs down to the bathroom; 2) The only window in the bedroom opens onto a fire escape that reaches to the ground, so we did not feel comfortable leaving it open and found the……
