Great location on the beach. Private, not over crowded. The rooms were clean and room service was daily. Great for families and for pets. They had a little bit of everything. Restaurant, gift shop, 24/7 gym, vending machines and free laundry room.

We were aware that it was a pet friendly property, but not aware there wasn’t an option for a pet free room. I booked it last minute and didn’t pay as close attention to the details as I should have. Dogs were barking throughout the night and the day. It felt like we were at a kennel. There seemed to be some water issues on our floor, so the room had a mixture of a mold and pet smell. The bathroom needed some basic maintenance due to holes/cracks in the tile. The furniture was dusty. Otherwise, it’s a great quiet location right on the beach. Great food options in the area. One of our favorite areas to stay when we head over to St. Augustine for a quick getaway.

Great place to stay when visiting St. Augustine. We got an upgraded ocean view which was great. Access to the ocean was amazing, beautiful warm water, not crowded. Rooms were clean and spacious, tiki bar and pool were nice to have. Restaurant onsite was good as well

Nice restaurant and boutique shop for Guy Harvey fans. Convenience to beach. Friendly staff and very nice rooms.

I liked that it was right on the beach, however no beach view from the sides of hotel. Also, I did not know that it was hotel with dogs since we did not have dogs I would not booked if I knew it advance. It was not written when I booked on expedia. Also, I did not know the room was across elevator and since doors of the room had large gaps around it you could hear people walking even in the middle of the night.

Unfortunately, this hotel needs some serious renovations. The rooms smell and so do the old carpets in the hallway. Some of the furniture in the lobby area need to be replaced. The pool needs serious renovations. On the second night there, the power went out and we were unable to return to our room because the access key would not work. We had no hot water and had to shower with cold water. On the next day, our departure, we received a message from the hotel that there was no running water. It’s unfortunate that this happened. I believe a rightful refund would be the correct response. The food in the hotel’s restaurant was exceptional the first night we were there.

Power went out, no hot water the entire time we were there, and we couldn’t even eat at the restaurant. When I asked for a refund I was told since I booked at Expedia that I had to call them for refund. Wasted trip….

The restaurant food was excellent! The location to the beach is perfect. The rooms need some TLC with some paint and upgrading. We couldn't use our balcony in the morning due to the neighbors smoking, so that was disappointing and not worth the $50 night upgrade.

Loved this place. Had oceanfront room overlooking the pool, fantastic. Easy parking always had plenty of spots available. Poolside drinks were great! Staff always available for whatever was needed. Easy access to internet. Would definitely stay here again.

This is an experience staying at Guy Harvey Resort from his paintings everywhere, to the pool and live music at night, and the walk straight into the beach. The hotel is getting a little old and has it's bumps and bruises but you can see the staff cleaning pools and decks in the early morning hours, halls and stair wells are mopped. The gym was even nice and clean and well supplied. Our tub wasn't cleaned but someone came immediately to take care of it with a supervisor and apologize greatly. We enjoyed the walk to the mini golf close by and had fun there too. We didn't eat there as we have dietary restrictions but the restaurant and bar looked nice along with the clothing and gift shop in the lobby. The hostess upon check-in and checkout where very helpful and friendly.

We liked the location and that there was free parking, the rooms were a good size. Downfall was the cleanliness, the rooms and bathrooms really need a deep clean. The tiling in the shower was missing a-lot of grout looks like there needs to be some updating or at least take care of what’s there. I was pretty disappointed with the quality of the hotel, you walk into a beautiful lobby but when you go to the second building where the rooms are it does not match and is much older. It just wasn’t what I anticipated after reading all of the reviews.

Friendly staff. Relaxing pool and great access to the beach. Not enough parking spaces. Watched two staff members park in spots nearest the rooms.
