Located along the beautiful Fox River, this river retreat will not disappoint. Fish, boat or just chill on the landscaped bank of the Fox river. This ideal location is minutes from downtown St. Charles. Large driveway to accommodate horse or boat trailer. Dock included.

Gorgeous little house with a backyard right on the Fox River. Well furnished and quiet, the "retreat" title is accurate, as it feels pleasantly insulated from the world, but is still close enough to South Elgin and downtown St Charles to be convenient!

St. Charles on the Fox

We stayed for two weeks over the holidays visiting family nearby. Home was great. Very clean and owners were very responsive to any questions we had. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was large and clean. We could occasionally hear people in the unit below at night, but not enough to keep us awake. Overall, the place was great and I'd rent it again.

Clean and Quaint

Chris and Jay’s place is a quaint house on the Fox River. Great location to St Charles and Geneva. The house was super clean and amenities were great. Communication with the hosts was top notch and quick. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect little house on the river

We had a lovely time at this sweet house on the river while in town for a wedding. Very peaceful neighborhood and comfortable accommodations. Would stay here again if we are ever in the area in the future.

Great stay

We stayed at the property while attending a horse show at Lamplight Equestrian Center. The location was perfect, very close and convenient. The hosts were wonderful and helpful during our stay. Highly recommend this property if you are searching for a stay near the St. Charles area.
