“Stayed with two families and had a wonderful time. House was fully equipped with lots of space for the 12 of us. The view outside the house was absolutely breathtaking and made even more special with daily visits from local kangaroos. ”

“We stayed at the Retreat for a family wedding , we had 5 adults and still had room for more. The rumpus room with pool table and table tennis table was a huge bonus and we were the envy of others that stayed there. The house was great and we did not need anything else to make our stay better, we were warned to bring everything with us. All the wildlife around was wonderful as well, reminded us that we live in Australia. It was a shame that we could not fully go on the long bush walks on……

“A beautiful location and the cabin was lovely with bathrooms for all, stunning views, loads of wildlife, a great hot spa. The fire place was wonderful and the cabin was very comfy and warm. The communications were a little stilted and confusing, and some of the kitchen china and stores needed checking. There was no info on the facilities, I have to say the doors got me, lol, we got there in the end. A stove dial was broken and super hard to turn off. The spa also went on and off all night……

“The location and property were amazing. Plenty of lovely wineries within driving distance. The host was very welcoming and helpful with the local area. The house was very well kept and clean. Pool was magic, plenty of indoor and outdoor space. All the necessary ammenities. Would recommend to anyone wanting to visit the Hunter Valley. 5 stars.”

“The property is big and can accommodate 8 comfortably. I would definitely stay here with friends again. Really great kitchen and the pool is lovely. Ducted aircon was also a bonus.”
