“Great home with wonderful amenities. My kids enjoyed the game room in the basement and having space in two sitting rooms to separate and relax. The back yard was amazing for our “special needs” pet who was traveling with us. We really appreciated the snacks and water to let us spend time relaxing rather than running out to the store. ”

“My friends and I drove from Chicago to stay at the Mississippi manor and we were not disappointed at all. As a group of music people our favorite part was the stereo system that has crisp and clear sound throughout the first floor. Brian was a wonderful host that provided blankets/soaps/tooth paste/brushes and towels. Any question or concern we had Brian was able to respond promptly. This was supposed to be a one time trip but we are thinking about making the Mississippi manor an annually event.……

“An absolutely delightful place, minutes from any place you want to be in the Elk River region. Tucked in the trees along the water. Cozy, warm, comfortable, amenities and decorations are spot on. You won’t want to leave. We will definitely be headed back. We can’t say it enough nice things about the place and the hosts. You can tell how much they love the space just by being there. I’m delighted they are sharing that with us through VRBO.”

“Enjoyed our stay. Accommodations were nice. Bed very comfy, bathrooms not great, but very clean. Had some issues with communications at the onset but they got better with our stay. Location is very nice for families or people wanting a lake experience. We wanted to go downtown and that was a jaunt.”

“The cabin was perfect for our group of 4. The view was great from the deck. We saw lots of Pelicans, turtles and beavers in the lake. We also took the canoe into the lake. There were card games, battleship, annd books to read. The communication with the host was also great. Would definitely recommend and maybe visit again.”
