Had a very late flight getting into the Island and I believe this made our introduction to the premises a bit unpleasant and a feeling of what did we get into. There was no one to receive us or no instructions left. Had to wake host and we felt very bad as he did not seem too happy about that. We were all hoping to at least have a cup of tea but soon discovered the electric kettle was sketchily plugged into a transformer output that we could not get to work. The lighting throughout was very dim and discovered the fixture in the kitchen was not working. As we explored the apartment, we found that there were limited dishes. The apartment was advertised as accommodation for 6 and we were 5. There were 2 glasses, 2 coffee mugs( so we all could not have tea at once if we got the kettle working that night), 4 dinner plates and 2 bowls. No fry pan, cutting board, can opener. We then saw a kettle on the stove and thought aha some tea. No luck there either. Stove was also unplugged so the electronic starter could not work, but also found out next day there was no gas. The bedrooms very basic, no nightstand next to the beds. Had problems turning ACs on. The middle bedroom had no window and the light had to be kept on at all times. The next morning we had to wait for the office staff to come in at 9am to present a list of what we needed. The most redeeming factor to our accommodation was the Ocean View and assistance from office Staff, Niki. The apartment itself was spacious.
