This was a poor to okay stay for a local BNB but very poor for a hotel with the Savoy name.
The first room we were given was directly above the event hall, leading to loud booming sounds and very loud music. Only after complaining did we get another room. This shouldn’t even happen in my opinion, that room should be just kept as a storeroom. The next room given was much quieter but not easily accessible at all, it was a maze and not at all accessibility friendly or luggage friendly.
The rooms were very old and outdated, old wooden furniture and carpets that hadn’t been cleaned and dust hung in the air. Also, the corridors smelt of cigarette smoke, not pleasant at all. Think 80s bnb. The breakfast was okay, nothing special and again not worthy of the Savoy name.
The pool is outdoors and not heated, which is unusable pretty much all year round in Jersey.
Overall this needs a HUGE renovation and uplift.
