Rooms were clean and pleasant, AC worked great, staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was better than expected for a continental. Hotel is within walking distance to the beach, boardwalk and shopping. I will definitely stay here again when im up that way

Our stay here was very nice for the price. Good location near downtown St. Ignace. Easy parking and a real nice full breakfast. We arrived late and could smell the campfire they had going in the yard. Nice touch. Spotless clean room with comfy beds if a bit outdated. Friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again.

The rooms smelled musty, carpet was wet, black bugs in the room. Had to clean the air conditioner vents they were filthy. Bought Fabreze to spray around to help with the odors. Bed not the best. Very disappointed

This was a lovely and affordable place to stay. There are nicer places, but none are really better. It is a bit dated but still comfortable. I would not hesitate to go back again!

We had a great stay. Expedia did the booking. With that said, the staff was very kind in allowing our service dog, even though they don't really accept pets per Expedia`s recommendations that they do. Front desk was very polite & helpful. Close to everything. Breakfast was served & well thought out. Enjoyed our stay.

The property is spread across several parcels of land which made us feel disconnected from using the pool, getting breakfast, and getting a fresh cup of coffee. Because it was raining and didn’t feel like driving to find a spot closer to the office we had to run with our bathing suits on across a price of property that said private residence. The pool and hot tub were nice but then had to run back to our rooms again in our bathing suits. The recommendation for dinner was great but service was very slow!

Bed was pretty good. We had some issues with the ac unit but both times the owner came and fixed it. He was very nice. Front desk staff was okay could have been a little more friendly. Breakfast was good. They have grills and fire pits. Tether ball was cool to see. Pool and hot tub were great. Sink in room had the pull knib which splashed water everywhere so that sucked. A microwave in the room would have been great addition. But overall was nice and would stay again.

Did not stay at the hotel/motel, checked out right after checking in. Said I would have to deal with Expedia for a refund. Room was no where as clean as web-site pictures. Spider webs in the bathroom, sand and dirt in the carpeting, dirty widows, couldn't leave soon enough.

Rooms were dated but functional. The landscaping around the property was not maintained and gave a poor experience. The pool / hot tub was well maintained as well as the breakfast area.

The top sheet on our king bed was put on sideways! It was remade the next day. Room was on the 2nd floor of the lodge, which had a very narrow stairway. Whole building is very old and needs remodeling. Manager was responsive to our requests.

This place needs a major upgrade. It was dirty, run-down and the windows had the thinnest of curtains on them. We had to drape our own large towel over the main window in order to block out enough light to sleep. Would not recommend.
