“We loved loved our stay there. We were traveling to Arkansas to visit a wedding venue, and this was our stopping point. We traveled from Indiana and Kentucky and the bride traveled from Colorado!! We didn't get to do much in the town, but our stay at the cozy cottage didn't disappoint. The beds were very comfy, and everything was extremely clean. Highly recommend if you're in the area!!”

“Overall we had a great weekend. It is a nice little old farmhouse. The bedrooms were not exactly advertised correctly, but we made it work. There was plenty of room and nice area outside for our younger kids to enjoy. If you’re looking for an enjoyable quiet place to stay this is it, beware though if there is heavy rain in the forecast you might get flooded in for a while. The only way to the property involves a low water bridge. We learned the hard way, lol. We would definitely rent this place……

“Beautiful solid historic home that has been up updated and tastefully decorated. Very comfortable with nice king sized beds and a great sectional couch. Even a nice large desk I utilized for catching up on work. The attention to detail was phenomenal. Great lighting, fenced back yard, beautiful hard wood floors with soft rugs and soft fluffy towels…perfect. Our stay was just perfect.”

“We rented this cabin to participate in the Colon Cancer Riding for a Reason side-by-side trailhead event at Bass River Resort, and despite the distance to/from the resort, we had a blast driving the backroads and exploring Steelville.This cabin has all of the comforts of home and was very relaxing at the end of the day, after bouncing around in the side-by-side all day. If I had to make any negative comment, it would be the surrounding houses as you're driving in, that are in disrepair, but no reflection on this property.
