“My wife and I were celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary, and we had an excellent time there. The staff are very helpful and friendly, the amenities were perfect for a quiet adults only break. My only gripe is that there were not enough sun beds and towels, they should have a rule that if you have not used your bed or towel in an hour you loose the bed as many people would put towels on a bed as early as 7 am and not use the bed until way after lunch. ”

“Hidden Gem is a perfect place to relax and just hang by the pool, or recline on the deck facing the ocean. It is not a place where you can step out the door and be on the beach or at a restaurant. If you have a car, Miami Beach is 5 minutes away. We went to Oistens (5 min by car) on a Thursday night and really enjoyed our fish dinner. (The guide books make it sound like it is only on Fridays. Not quite as lively as on Friday, but still a lot of fun on Thursday night.) The pool and breakfast were……

“The restaurants, especially Oro, were excellent. We did not like the hard sand beach (not soft Caribbean) and very rough surf that made going in the ocean unpleasant.”

“This was our second stay at Meridian Inn and it was just as we remembered. Fantastic location, just at one end of The Gap, but quiet. Close to Dover beach, surf lessons, and many restaurants. We had everything we needed in our room to prepare meals, and were able to enjoy them while seated on our balcony taking in the lovely view. Staff were incredible!
