“My family (plus extended family) travels to St. Cloud every year for Thanksgiving. We usually stay in hotels (about 4 rooms for 2 nights, sometimes at different hotels). This was an amazing upgrade as we had space for everybody to visit and everything we needed to cook our feast. Our host was gracious, the house was spacious and clean, and the property was beautiful (I wish Thanksgiving was in the summer so we could enjoy the outside too). This was our favorite Thanksgiving trip so far.”

We loved how close the area is to the cities, making it an easy drive with kids after the school and work day. But what made the place amazing was how magical it was, and all the extra touches that didn’t get described in the listing. “While we realize things happen, we were very disappointed with our interactions with the host and her lack of hospitality. There was no hot water, and it took two days to rectify, without the common courtesy of a discount for lack of essential amenity.”

“Overall we enjoyed our stay. Only complaint was that the outside garbage bins were not empty. Flower beds needed to be weeded”
