“Whitney is a great host! This apartment is much bigger than the pictures make it appear. The kitchen is awesome, the marina docks are well maintained and there’s power at each one with a regular 110 volt outlet, no need for an adapter. The beds are wonderful and the ceiling fans really cool the bedrooms well. I am already making plans to return next year! Thank you, for everything, Whitney!”

“We just loved this stay!! Everything was just as described, but with some aspects that words and photos don’t capture. Such Amazing energy in this place!! Great combination of modern, industrial, simple craftsman, and so much character! The view of the river and the various wildlife we got to enjoy made you feel like you were pretty isolated, yet conveniently located in town. We will definitely be back and will always try to stay here! ”

“The River is our favorite place! Our stay was perfect at Paddles on the Porch! The home and yard are spacious for family and friends to gather, we especially enjoyed the firepit and deck. Any amenities you would ever want or need are supplied. The owners are lovely people, easy to communicate with, and immediately responsive to any concerns or requests. A 5 star review for sure! We are hoping to return!”

“We wanted to find some snow to play in, and saw storms hitting in the area. We booked last minute and figured we were taking our chances, but ended up with an amazing find! The cabin was warm, cozy, and easy to get to. (And bonus—at least that weekend, we were right on the edge of the snow band, so we were able to go play in snow nearby but didn’t get stuck or have any issues at the cabin.) The kitchen is well furnished with all the cookwear, pots and pans, dishes and silverware anyone could possibly want or need, Parking is available for a truck and a boat, in fact there’s room for two such rigs in the driveway. Kevin is a gracious host and was over quickly to help get the TV working (we’re technically challenged). We’ll be back!!”

“My husband and I stayed at K’s Motel over the weekend for a wedding. It was very clean and the hosts were great at communicating. The AC worked wonderfully, even better than my own at home. The bed was comfy and it was true king bed. I’ve been to some properties that advertise king beds that are really queens or queens that are really fulls… here we got what we reserved. Blankets and sheets were comfy as well. The rates were the most reasonable of anything else that weekend in the area. The……

“This place was perfect for my husband and I. We took a quick trip to do a little fishing, so the location was great. Loved that it was tucked away off the main road. It was very comfortable, very clean, very quiet, and I loved the artwork around the cabin. This would be a great place for a multi family vacation with all the different cabins. Will most definitely come back to this place again! ”
