This was an exceptional experience. My family and I stayed in one of the 2-bedroom suites with a double sofa pullout—it was super clean and incredibly convenient. We dined at The Placery and enjoyed breakfast each morning—both offered delicious food and had amazing staff. Although we didn’t need room service during our stay, we often saw the team in the hallway, and the ladies were always kind and friendly. Every staff member we interacted with truly exemplified excellent customer service—not in a forced or fake way, but genuinely. You can tell they’re happy to work there, which speaks volumes about the culture that’s been built. A special shoutout to Karen and Todd B. for making our check-in and dining experiences extra pleasant with their cheerful, helpful attitude. If our travels bring us back to St. Louis, there’s no doubt where we’ll be staying.

Quiet and comfortable building. Some nice eating options. Rooms were large and comfy. Everything worked. THe coffee and bed stood out. Got a good picker-upper by the complimentary coffee and the bed gave a good night's sleep. Bathroom was nice, clean and modern. Water pressure was good. In all, a very please stay. I hope to be back. Very impressed! This Hyatt does not have room service 'per se', but you can call in food and bar orders and pick them up at the front desk for relatively reasonable prices; which is even better! Also, in consideration that Hyatt Place Chesterfield shares the same general property as next door neighbor Drury Plaza Chesterfield; my recommendation is Hyatt-- more flexible room options, friendlier attendants, and less administrative inanity (granted, the last is based on one recent disingenuous interaction with Drury)

We arrived late around 2:45 am after travel times were exceded because of weather conditions. When i arrived i was told thst they had reinstate my stay although it was prepaid, ok whatever. I was then asked to provide a card for incedentals,i was then told it declined, it shouldnt have so i gave another card. It was good apparently, but then he was unable to make key cards and took 20 mins to figure it out. Granted he offered to walk up snd let us in without them. But i did not want to be witbout acess to the room at freedom. Finally he got it, ok now lets get to the room. Everything looked fine at first i had just drug my 3 children, wife and myself up and now its 330 am. Pull back the sheets and there is hair all over the pillows. Not sure if this was from maid service or did they even change the pillow cases after the lasy guest. With already the problems, there was no use to request another room. So i tossed the pillows rolled up my hoodie, took a nap and left at 9am. Btw checked both of my credit cards used and both had a pending charge even though one supposedly declined. We will choose a different place next time. Maybe this was a fluke
