The moonrise is a quirky hotel with lots of fun lunar artwork throughout. The desk clerk and wait staff were super friendly. I just stayed one night, but if my son gets into Wash U - I will be back.

Always enjoy the Moonrise Hotel. Rooms are always nice, comfortable and clean. Staff very pleasant. Restaurant is overpriced for the most part and just ok. Had a smash burger and cost $19…crappy bun that fell apart. Husband has chicken sandwich..crappy bun that fell apart for him also. Could have gotten better at Steak n Shake

Location was excellent! Staff was top-notch! Restaurant and food was fantastic but a bit overpriced as is everything. Our room was extremely drafty around the AC and heater unit so it made it very cold in the room no matter how much we turned the temperature up and there’s such a gap underneath the door and the side of the door that it really allows for outside noise in and inside noise out. The shower is a bit small for our liking and there was no hairdryer. Overall four out of five stars just need to tidy up on the small things.

The place is pretty cool, everyone was nice, food at the restaurant was really good. The bed although comfortable had a water proof wrap so it felt like sleeping on a trash bag. The sheet wasn't fitted so it kept coming undone. Not the most relaxing sleep.

This has to be one of the best hotels that I've ever stayed at, with the best staff. This hotel is very pet friendly, and even left cat treats in the room, as I let them know that I would be traveling with my cat, during my cross-country move. The staff, even the night crew, was extremely friendly and attentive. I've stayed at much more expensive, and highly regarded hotels, but I've never had a better experience on any trip in my life. If I travel through St. Louis again, I would not consider staying anywhere else.

Our room was absolutely disgusting to the point even management couldn’t explain why it was that bad, the supervisor who was there at the moment was great she helped us get our refund and apologized profusely 0/10 hotel - 10/10 managers!

The decor was very cool and the location was great for a concert at The Pageant. Those were the positives. The walls and doors were thinner than cardboard, I could hear people on both sides of me having conversations(or yelling/fighting) like they were standing in my room with me. Thankfully I had earplugs but I didn't have any earphones so I couldn't really watch anything or listen to music even quietly late at night it would have been plainly audible to my neighbors. It feels like you have no privacy and I didn't feel super safe. Luckily they include a white noise machine next to the bed that I cranked up to what would normally be an obnoxious levels to drown out some of the noise and feel like my every whisper wasn't plainly audible 3 doors down. I got some bug bites laying in the bed and I stepped on something sharp in the carpet that poked through my sock and made me bleed. After the veneer of the cool decor was seen through I felt this place was pretty sketchy. Oh and there is no microwave in the room. I ran everything I brought to this place through my washer twice on high heat and I pray I don't get bed bugs.

This was the coolest place I've stayed in terms of style and atmosphere! The service we received was fantastic - Clay at the front desk was especially welcoming, and the valet and hotel staff were super friendly and helpful. We appreciated the pet friendly vibe and Nanook appreciated her warm welcoming with her name added to the chalkboard of canine guests. We stayed in the Tennessee Williams room which was spacious and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable and the rainfall shower was warm and relaxing after a long drive! The sleep noise maker was an added bonus as I typically travel with a "10 hour box fan" track for noise emergencies.😅 If I had any recommendation it would be the addition of microwaves in the room. Valet was very reasonable at $20/night and gave us peace of mind for security. Very convenient location to a number of interesting sights and shops for just about anyone. The rooftop is a neat visit with a view of the downtown skyline and the arch, with tower viewers on each side. Would also recommend trying out Mama's on the Hill while you visit! Thank you for the wonderful stay and hospitality.
