The air conditioning in our room did not work. We reported it upon arrival. Maintenance was notified. When we returned from our event the air was still not working. We were told maintenance had left for the night and hotel was booked. We were provided a boxfan and that helped. I was told management would contact me in the morning and never heard from them.

I booked a king room, although it was clean it was extremely small! Two of us stayed in the room and we felt very crowded, no windows in the room, and we were left without towels.

The check in process was terrible. It took over 30 minutes to check in because the line was so long and only one person checking people in which made us late to our event. There was no parking, no parking lot, only valet parking for $55 per night or metered parking but we didn’t find a spot for several blocks. The property smelled strongly of weed, rooms are very small and no coffee pot in the room. One of the shades was broken on the window so there was a lot of light coming in the room. The tv came on in the middle of the night and scared us. One of the elevators shook terribly and would go up a little before it came back down to the right floor. Pros: staff was friendly and good breakfast, comfortable bed.

There’s a lack of parking. At night time there are people walking around drunk and doing drugs and other things. The hotel entryway is beautiful, and the rooms are nice. Elevator is lacking, and when you exit the elevator, the floors are not nice. Is the rest of the place, it does stand to have some updates. I’ve never had a bad experience at any Hilton place that I’ve stayed, but I was not pleased with this stay.

Be prepared to walk if you don’t want to pay $55 a night of valet parking that is the only option the hotel gives you. I parked at Kiener plaza west garage which is a 15 minute walk from the hotel. There is no pool at this location. Be prepared to hear the staff fighting each other on 2 separate occasions security had to escort workers off site. The breakfast was ok nothing special. No storage, microwave, or coffee maker in rooms. I will book somewhere else next time

Once my initial Room (single tiny window, uncleaned Bathroom) was sorted and switched to one facing the Church & Library, everything was enjoyable. Great Breakfast. Helpful Staff. Cool Historic ‘curved’ Building, especially nice original Elevators!
