“We recently had a weekend getaway to this location. The property manager was very precise with our expectations and everything was as Advertised. The rustic feel was amazing. We spent much of our time in the hot tub, as it was winter with snow on the ground. We were just about 30 minutes away from Priarie Du Chein and Harper's Ferry and went to the winery. “The property is beautiful and so is the cabin. You are 30 minutes away from the nearest grocery store and restaurant, so it is quiet and serene there. The creek just adds to it. The cabin has everything you need except the food. We received our code to get into the cabin the day of, just like it states. We stayed for my husband’s 40th birthday to go hiking and to come back after a long day of hiking to a jacuzzi was very nice. We even came back to deer laying in the yard. ”

“The pool and hot tub was so popular with all ages and added to our fun. The size was great. It did not meet expectations in the following We had to clean the countertops and the fully stocked kitchen had poor quality and very used non stick pans. Also the silverware was 1 fork, 2 spoons and 8 knives. Garbage dumpster was a 6 mile or so drive and down a long driveway. “This place was perfect for our little getaway. Short drive to everywhere we wanted to go (Harper's Ferry, Marquette, PDC, Effigy Mounds). Perfectly situated on the river with a dock for our jet ski and for fishing. Very clean and we loved the screened in deck! Would stay again!”

“Trevor was a great host and communicated well. This cabin was exactly what we needed, a weekend to get away and unplug. It was private and peaceful with amazing country views. It also has a small trail cutout through the prairie that is nice for morning or evening walks! This cabin has motivated us to save and purchase or build our own someday.
