The AC was a beautiful property and the location to the beach made it even better. This was my 2nd time at an AC property and both experiences were good. Always clean, great staff. 3 bars with the rooftop were perfect.

The floor we stayed on had the smell of dogs, and it was never well-ventilated. All of our clothes smell after a day, and when we came home, the smell followed us home.

This hotel was excellent room was very clean and the front desk where very nice . I stay in a room over looking the bay and a comfy king size bed also it was very quiet and peaceful. loved the pool and the 3 min walk to the beach. the breakfast was also good and the lady that service us was very nice she help us with the expresso machine everyday. Grateful for all the staff including valet parking

Convenient location, and tastefully decorated with all the modern touches. Staff was wonderful and accommodating. Incredible views of the beach and ocean…we booked a partial view and the view was full and unobstructed. Great lobby bar and rooftop pool. My only issue was that we did not have maid services the entire time there (3 nights). So while the room was clean and there were plenty of towels it would have been nice to have housekeeping remove garbage from the room and to make the bed. Had I called I’m sure they would have accommodated but I didn’t want to have to call.

My stay at the AC Hotel Clearwater Beach was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond—everyone was incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. Whether we had questions about the area or needed help with a request, they were quick to assist with a smile. The hotel itself was spotless and modern, with a sleek, clean design that made it feel both upscale and comfortable. It truly had everything we needed—great amenities, a fantastic location, and a relaxing atmosphere. It’s clear that the team here takes pride in their service and in keeping the property in top shape. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Clearwater Beach!

This hotels location is the BEST!! Frenchy's and Crabby's are so CLOSE!! We did not like being charged more than the beach goers for valet charges. Would definitely stay again! :)

I come to Clearwater Beach ferry often at least a few times a year and I live in the Midwest. I usually stay at the Hilton this time. I decided to try something else. I really did like this modern hotel. The only thing that sucked about it is it didn’t have a full dresser for everyone’s clothes so we just kinda had to lay everything out on the bench and we also didn’t get a balcony. We are frequent beach covers when we go to Clearwater Beach so the room did get filled up with sand and we didn’t have much room to put our wet towels from the beach and swimsuits like we would put on the balcony to dry if we had one other than that it was a great stay I wouldn’t listen to the other bad reviews. The hotel was amazing. It sucked that the door was broken and that other people in the reviews said the door was broken. They need to call someone and get that fixed cause it’s just not worth the money. I paid to have to walk around like a Mickey Mouse maze, but other than that it was great. I would go back to Clearwater and stay at the Hilton, but this place is awesome.

We chose this hotel for its prime beachfront location. After flying into Tampa, we relied on walking or Uber for transportation, and the hotel’s convenient position made this easy. The beach was just a short stroll away, about a few hundred yards. Mornings were delightful with nearby coffee shops, and King’s Pizza, a fantastic restaurant just steps away, became a frequent stop. Plenty of dining options were within walking distance, adding to the convenience. Despite a category 5 hurricane hitting only eight months earlier, the hotel and surrounding area showed minimal damage—a testament to the community’s resilience. The lobby and its elegant bar exuded sophistication. The hotel offered a European-style breakfast, which we skipped, preferring a heartier American-style meal. My main gripe was the pool area: while the pool itself was decently sized, shade was scarce, with only four umbrellas available. By late afternoon, the deck was fully exposed to the intense Florida sun, making long stays uncomfortable. Additionally, the pool closed at dusk, which felt restrictive, and the absence of a hot tub was a missed opportunity for relaxing after a beach day. The hotel caters well to couples, which suited us perfectly. Our room was spacious but minimalistic, with just two drawers and a small hanging area for storage.
