I would never come to the Gulf coast and NOT stay here. SunHost offers multiple properties to suit your needs. From the moment of booking to check out the process was conveniently laid out. Our room was recently renovated with exquisite taste. Keep reading.... I have some insight. In the room is a beautiful, tiled shower. Included were towels, wash cloths, a tiny hand soap bar and TP. *Bring your own body wash, shampoo, conditioner etc. Our bed was comfortable, thread count was low on the sheets (having gotten sunburned, I would have appreciated softer sheets). A very clean and comfortable couch, we never opened it to see the pull out. A dresser we never used, but it held a TV and our snacks. There is a kitchen stand that holds plates, cups, silverware, coffee pot and microwave. There is no table to sit at. You are also left to wash dishes in the bathroom sink. Or you can bring paper plates/plastic silverware. **Note to owner, I would suggest for functionality of the room- put a tall dresser in the closet, leaving the other half for hanging clothes. Mount the TV to the wall, remove the dresser and utility cart and install a counter with a small sink for dish washing with cupboards below. Store your microwave below and get a Keurig. With that being said, I would absolutely stay here again, knowing all of this information, you can make it more comfortable.

Amazing vacation

Perfect for us

We stayed at your location specifically for the distance to everything we like to do. The weather was not our friend, but we did manage to have a great time. The room was perfect for just two people. The pool was heated just as described, but we didn’t use it due to the weather. The communication between the office personnel was excellent. I loved having a door code to access our unit instead of keeping track of keys. Would definitely stay here again.

Birthday getaway

This wasn’t by any means the nicest place I’ve ever stayed. There were renovations happening to the place while we were there, but just in our room there were a few cracks in the ceiling and in the shower. The place looked old, but met the basic requirements for a room. The LOCATION is what sells you! The pool was directly outside of our room and the beach was immediately outside of the pool area; couldn’t ask for a more perfect set up in that regard. Ava directly across the street was the pier that had a million places to eat and drink. We had a blast!

Christmas Vacation

Cute little place right on the beach! Good space for two people. Close to restaurants and bars. Nice heated pool. Only thing I didn’t really like was the moldy/low pressure shower head . Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay!

Disappointed

Old room generally needs upgrade. Couch was dirty visible. Closet track dirt grime in that. Room needs a good painting Shower ceiling leaked. Called it in it got fixed but whole in ceiling shower for two days. The workman that came three days never cleaned up after themselves so I was cleaning the tub. Very old place

Great Place to Stay!

I spent one week here with my boyfriend. It was perfect for what we wanted - easy access to a beach/pool with John’s Pass right across the street. The room was clean and had the essentials. We were very happy and will likely come back!

Great Great Great location. Room was fine for 2 people. Gas grill and laundry right outside the door. Tub didn't drain. Some Dishes were dirty. Coffee pot area had coffee rings . Refrigerator was really cold though.

June stay - perfect

Check in was fast and easy. We arrived a little early; they were accommodating and we were able to check in early. The space is small, but we knew that already. There is a microwave, a small fridge and coffee maker. If you want to cook, you will want a room with a kitchen. The property has different sized rooms to choose from. The pool was awesome and cleaned every morning. The property and seating areas were always clean as well. This property is RIGHT on the beach. Perfect. As far as restaurants, stores, nightlife...it is all very close. Excellent location.

Lovely here

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed in this specific room. The convenient access to St Johns Pass, as well as directly on the beach is a big draw for us. The addition of beach chairs in the room was a real plus for us! The AC worked well, as did the coffee maker. The front office was nice to work with. Know that you can check in a lot earlier than the 4pm it says on their site, just call first to make sure the room is ready. Love it, we will be back!

One of our worst experiences

King bed was very comfortable. Room was very small for the amount of furniture. My husband and I both require CPAP machines and there were no bedside tables to put them on so had to wedge a suitcase between the wall and bed for one, and move the sofa over to the bedside for the other one. There was only one electrical outlet on that side so had to get 2 extension cords to plug them in. There was a coffee pot and toaster on a small foyer table (no kitchen), but no outlet for them; moved the coffee pot to a small table where we could plug it in. A few kitchen items and utensils were supplied but there was no water supply except the bathroom sink which would have been unsanitary for washing dishes, so bought disposables. Bathroom sink had no counter top and the only mirror (small) in the room, making applying make-up and hair-styling difficult. Water in sink and toilet were slow-draining; tub was old and appeared stained. Tile floor was clean but felt gritty, like it was mopped without sweeping first. Pool was right outside the window so did not open blinds making the room dark unless lamp was on. The room was damp with the AC running so had to use the noisy dehumidifier. Killed 2 cockroaches. One of our worst experiences.

Very nice location, walking distance to Johns Pass

My wife and me had a wonderful week from 19.03.- 26.03.2016 in this small, clean Appartement. Pool and beach around the Corner, no kitchen- but a perfect barbecue station in front of the room door with 5 deluxe Weber Gas grill. Johns Pass Village with a lot of shops and restaurants are across the street. You can watch dolphins and enjoy your life - we will come back!
