Enjoy the amazing history and attractions of beautiful Tarpon Springs. In this 100% meticulously renovated home located within 4 blocks of the world famous Sponge Docks. Walk to the Spring Bayou and look for a manatee or dolphins or check out all the antique stores and fantastic restaurants on Main Street. Drive less than 3 miles to the quiet beach at Fred Howard park or take a scenic 17 mile drive to the best beach in America, Clearwater Beach! Golf is readily available and close by with Innisbrook's Copperhead course or discover the hidden gem of World Woods and all it's remote privacy.

Fit for a Captain!

We had a lovely three night stay at the Captain’s Quarters. The house is exactly as pictured. It is immaculate. Beautifully decorated. A kitchen full of cookware that we honestly didn’t touch. There was so much good food nearby we weren’t tempted to cook. Plenty of towels. Comfortable beds. Really everything you could ask for, including very gracious, responsive hosts. Thank you Lisa and John, for a very pleasant stay.

Another great time in Beautiful home & perfect location

This was our 4th year in this beautiful home that’s close to everything: Sponge Docks, Spring Bayou, Bike trails,Tarpon Ave shops & restaurant. Hosts are very responsive and great communicators. This is our home away from home every March & we can’t wait to return!

Everything was spotless, the house was well furnished and there were a lot of essentials (if you forgot ) like shampoo and after sun lotion…. Really close location to the sponge docks. John and Lisa were the nicest host anyone could imagine.

Amazing House in perfect location

This was our first time renting a vrbo as we recently sold our own second home in the florida keys and did vacation rentals for 10 years down there. Being previous vacation rental owners, we were amazed at and appreciated greatly the level of detail and thought that went into making this rental perfect for the guests. In addition, the house was immaculate and amazingly renovated. Everything needed was there and the location was perfect. We were able to walk everywhere, including the sponge docks, downtown / pinellas ave, etc. The front porch was great for enjoying morning coffee or a cocktail in the evening. Everything was so well done, we could have learned a thing or 2 from Lisa and John when we were renting our house! Highly recommend and would definitely return! Thanks Lisa and John!

3rd Great Stay

Always an enjoyable stay at the Captains Quarters! Owners are very responsive and keep the house neat and clean with everything needed for a wonderful stay. The location is perfect being within walking distance to the Sponge Docks, Spring Bayou and restaurants/shops on Tarpon Ave. Looking forward to staying again in March.

Beautiful house- kind and helpful hosts - had a wonderful time. Could have used a little more cushion seating in living room sofa only big enough for 2 or 3 people - we pulled some chairs from the bed rooms to make it work for our stairs a lovely place😀

We had such a lovely time in Tarpon Springs and the Captain's Quarters is a beautiful, ideally located place to stay. This home feels like home! The owners are wonderful, super responsive and are right on top of maintaining and caring for this property. Perfect vacation

Check in was flawless, our stay was beyond easy. The home had everything we could have though of needing. It was so close to downtown Tarpon Springs we walked every time we wanted to go down there. The checkout instructions we clearly posted and easy to follow.

Great Location and Property
