“At first I was put off by a self-check in system that takes your ID to verify, but after looking at other reviews my mind was put at ease. PROS: Location, decor, quiet, free breakfast (we noticed pastries and bread were available throughout the day as well), easy check in (there is a clearly marked sign out front that we missed, but that was user error. “Very good two star hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and it was clean and spacious. The bed was also comfortable and they served a good continental breakfast. The look of the property is a little dated, as if it's still in the 1980s but this did not detract from the experience. It also had character in that the hotel is in a medieval 'clos' attached to the abbey which still stands across the square. The middle of the square, between the hotel and the abbey, is used as petanque pitches……

“We stayed 3 nights in this hotel. The transportation was very convenient, including trams and trains. Don't take the breakfast in this hotel, too expensive (9 Euros), there are lots of choices just outside the hotel (1.9 Euro for Cafe Croissant!). The rooms were clean, but very, very small! The elevator was also quite small, only 3 persons could fit into it. The counter was very friendly and helpful. The wireless internet was fine and strong. Our friend's twin-bed room did not have any A/C! That……
