Great beach/view. Restaurant with poor dinner service. Lunch service was better. Unpleasant bleach smell in the room. One night stay for airport proximity.

If you're looking for peace and quiet- this is not the place. Jet ski's and music all day and into the evening. The rooms are outdated and pieced together with many notices to lock doors, use the safe, etc. The showers weren't good either- dramatic temperatures and water went everywhere due to design. I'm not sure how this ranked a 4 star. On the plus side- there is a ton of shallow water, the view from the room is pretty and overlooks the ocean, and the bed was comfy. The people were nice and helpful. I wouldn't choose this location again- mostly because of the noise and lack of sealife/ snorkelling opportunity.

Lovely beach close to the airport, the hotel rooms were clean.lovely view and the sound of the ocean was very relaxing. Despite proximity to the Airport It was not too disturbing. The staff were wonderful. we quickly learned to slow down . dining area frequently only had 2 staff , but food was lovely when it arrived. On Wednesday and Thursday big cruise days a lot of extra people came to the beach and It became louder. Hotel has frequent short stays due to people going to other Islands or staying prior to Returning to the 🇺🇸. It was family friendly. The reception staff , were exceptionally helpful and held our bags both in checkin and departure to allow us use the facilities while waiting for our rooms or departure to Airport. Plenty of parking for those who hired cars. Taxi’s available easilly. little public transport. I reccomend this resort for quick get away

Originally in building one and that was terrible, they moved us to building two and much - much better. Do not recommend building one last room ground floor based on the activity next to it. Rentals, smoking right in front of patio and very loud music. Not my idea of relaxation. Overall the resort was nice, clean, and staff very kind and bar atmosphere was nice combo of people but closed too early in the evening. Very friendly staff. Pool was great and the water just beautiful.

Great place to stay. Friendly staff. Wait staff in restaurant are also friendly but be prepared to wait some. A little bit of an adjustment. Convenient to airport. Although it’s distance from town, transportation is readily available. Airport noise is non existent at night.

This entire trip was a horrible experience and I will NEVER EVER go back to St. Thomas! My husband and I pretty much was getting robbed by the “taxi drivers” they have outside. The hotel says the maximum they’re suppose to charge you a set price per person. Why when you try and get a taxi outside the hotel they double the price. I asked them how is that possible if the hotel has a different price and they wanted to lie to me. Other companies won’t come out because they say they have taxi services out there so they’re pretty much stuck. On Friday night, after we had left the pool area we went to the bar to get drinks. Of course they are helping and servicing the white people, once I approach the bartender they tell me to go to the other bar cause now all of the sudden they can’t make drinks at the bar inside. Liars when I clearly just saw them making drinks 2 mins ago but ok. The next thing was they have bed bugs! My husband and I woke up with bites all over our body’s with pictures to prove it. And the cherry on top was the security that kicked in our door! They thought was were arguing which was actually another room, he kicked in our door. We had the “do not disturb” sign on the door and when my husband when to check who was knocking he had kicked in the door and hit my husband on the head and he had cut my finger due to me trying to unlock the hook from the door! The police was called & a report was made! We are planning to sue their ass!

Don’t even worry about the close proximity to the airport; flights are not constant and not at night. The grounds, rooms, pool, bar, restaurant and beach are Wonderful! Tom is the best bartender around. The front desk staff and room staff are very welcoming and efficient. Parking was easy and plentiful. We would definitely stay at the Emerald Beach Resort again.

Pros and cons. Pros: it is right on Lindberg bay. Rooms are very spacious Bathrooms are nice Bed was comfortable Housekeeping staff is friendly and efficient. Beach towel if they don’t run out Pool area is nice Restaurant on property. Good food at the restaurant Free parking if you have a rental car Cons: first floor room should be able to access the beach from their balcony. Front desk personnel are not very friendly (except Lisa) Not enough beach towels. On cruise ship days the property triples with people. Bartender not very friendly Restaurant does not have enough staff. Bartender automatically takes a tip out when paying cash. Gratuity is added to your check. Pool area standing water on pool deck Never cleaned up. Avoid rooms in building 1. Very noisy with other business right on or next to the property. Don’t ask for a frozen drink. Too much trouble for the staff. The airport runway is right next to the property. Did not bother me but just a note of caution.

This hotel is not a good one at all. Everything closes early. Service is beyond slow. They have two vending machines. Only accept $1 bills. Went to front desk of course the main lobby was locked. They let me in i asked for change and she denied me....zero hospitality. Highly reccomend saving a couple thousand and going somewhere else: not a good vacation destination at all. Not accommodating for people vacationing and visiting the beautiful island.

Internet does not work well. There is a lot of maintenance issues. Remember that you are on island time as the wait staff in the dining area are very slow, hardley speak English and one of them is almost rude. Chairs should be sectioned off for guests when the cruise ships come there for excursions. However, we will always come back here. We absolutely love the vibe, the bartenders, the beach, the pool and room views. Josie, who runs the little coffee stand is THE BEST! Always a smile and a good morning. We have been there two years in a row now and plan to come every year. Thanks Emerald!

We had room 1206 - DO NOT stay in that room unless you like listening to a generator run from 8am to 6 pm for the business right next door! Could not enjoy the outside terrace to sit and enjoy the view of the ocean. Also on Sunday they set up live music so loud that we could not stay in our room at all...IT started around 11 am and lasted until after 8pm...The room...was ok except the floors were dirty! Would not stay here again.

I will just say, we had no AC the first night, 1 towel for three people, hornets on the balcony. The coffee maker was not emptied, and honestly I am not sure much was cleaned. They did fix the AC for our second night, and they sprayed the hornets, but we had a huge cockroach inside our room the next night. Went to the restaurant, because we received to twenty dollar vouchers, for the inconvenience of no AC, where we were ignored by staff when trying to order take out, and then once we ordered it took 1 hour to get. The blonde that works at the restaurant was not very nice at all, and honestly I understand customer service isn’t priority here, but she made us feel like we were bothering her. At 2am a car was parked outside blasting music from car for over an hour. I will not recommend the hotel.
