Let’s begin with the check-in staff—unfortunately, they came across as quite unfriendly and seemed more engaged in chatting with each other than assisting guests. I did receive the ocean view room I paid for, which was appreciated. However, the room itself had several maintenance issues: the bathroom ceiling paint was peeling, paint from the balcony door was chipping and falling onto the floor (even landing in our food at one point), and we stepped on a loose screw that had fallen to the ground. We reported these concerns to the staff, but no one appeared to take any action.
Additionally, I developed small red bumps on my thighs that resembled bed bug bites—though I didn’t actually see any bugs, so I can’t confirm that. The hotel is also located in a rather remote area. Be aware that taxis charge per person, ranging from $12 to $20 depending on your destination.
If you’re easygoing and just looking to enjoy a beautiful view and some great food, this place might still be worth considering.
