“We were very happy with our stay. The house had all we needed, and enough space for 2 people and a big dog. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch. The garden is lush and conveniently fenced in. Quiet neighborhood and a short walk from the water and Front Street with restaurants and shops. Beaufort is a great town to visit. We visited Carrot Island and saw wild horses. Highly recommend this rental. ”

“I’m here for a work function for 6 months. This house was ideally located in a great quiet neighborhood steps away from the beach and within close proximity to great restaurants. My wife and I tried it out and liked it so much we re-booked for another 5 months. The property manager was easy to deal with and the owner was very proactive for minor requests we had. We would stay again should we ever come back for a vacation. ”

“The house is older and there has been updates made. Kitchen is FANTASTIC. The bathrooms have had some updates but needs to have at least 1 hand held shower . There was rat turds behind the couch upstairs. There needs to be a tv added to one of the downstairs bedrooms. Also there needs to be proper bed frames for the beds. 1 bed was knocked out of alignment and wobbled until we fixed it ”

“Family of four came down to Beaufort to hang out for a week and tootle around on bikes. Took the ferry to Shackleford, saw friends in Emerald Isle, and enjoyed the walk along Taylor's Creek. House was perfect. It has a cook's kitchen! ”

“We enjoyed the cottage location. We could walk to the park and farmers market on Saturday. We could ride bikes to the local shops. Eat next door at M&M's . Take the ferry over to Havelock and visit Beaufort, NC Debra Parks is an awesome Manager! She saved the day and brought lights back to the cottage so my husband could finish reading his book. She was warm and welcoming! Thanks so much, Debra.”

“We rented Fields Cottage because it is oceanfront, walking distance to several great restaurants, and the pictures showed a warm comfortable decor. Overall we liked the cottage. Our first three days were great on the beach and visiting local restaurants. Our last two days and nights were spent riding out the effects of Tropical Storm Ophelia. The cottage kept us safe. We were a little disappointed to find that the showers were both on the bottom floor and very small. The listing doesn’t make……

“Me and my brother went on a three day fishing trip and this place was perfect. The location was in a perfect spot in Morehead City. It was clean and the host was very accommodating to any needs I had. Will stay again next time I come down. ”
